The parl closes November 1 so not another of activity. We were only here for the night. Restrooms were not open and only one other trailer. It is right on the river and a busy road. Close to the airport. Lots of traffic noise this morning. We love to stay here because it is close to town and your can go and get something to eat quickly. Will stop again on our way home in the spring.

I am a ham operator and did an activation at this park. Loved the lakes and the bathrooms were clean. A super cute state park and they also offer camping and have a boat dock for the boats for fishing.

The traffic from the highway is pretty loud so much so that if you are looking for piece and quiet I don't recommend it. I went fishing there a few times and didn't catch any fish. I used the kayak rental once. The service was fine. The playground area was fine. Used the grill recently for a party and it did the trick. It is pretty to drive around the lake for a minute in the Fall when the leaves are changing.

This park pretty much has it all. Nice little campground, though it can get kinda cramped when it's busy. But there's plenty to do away from the campsite. The park is quite large with trails, boat docks, multiple fishing jetties, a beach as well as kayak/paddle board rentals.

Very nice area, only issue we had was that someone else had taken out spot and it was 8:00 in the evening when we finally got to the campground. They had their tent set up and a fire going on in the pit. When we asked about them being in our spot they got in their car and drove away. The spot next to them was vacant so we parked in it.

We really enjoyed our time here. We had quick access to the biking and hiking trails. We saw plenty of deer and woodchucks during our stay. They could improve their trail map to better represent the trails and distances of them. When ready the map the trails look they they are in a certain area but then you have to find them. A lot of the trails run I to each other, and sometimes they are not marked, so you don't know which way to go to stay on the trail you want to finish.

Quieter park (one reason we love it). Lots of walking trails, paved and off road. Lots of water for fishing and boating. Campground clean and hosts are friendly.

This was a great park for a quiet weekend. Most sites were full but they are reservable so you don't have to worry about not having a spot. Bathrooms were clean. Only electric hook-ups but water is available before you set up camp.
