Great venue for just about any event. Very rustic with lots of historic buildings.

Second visit here to attend a Three Dog Night concert. Had a great time friendly helpful staff, venue was clean and properly lighted before, during, and after the concert. Area has beautiful mountain views every where you go. If you like getting back to nature this is a great place to go. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm, a great place to get away from city life. Very rural makes you feel like your a million miles away from the troubles and worries of the rest of the world.

Great time at the Fall fest. Just not very handicap friendly. My battery struggled with hills. Some gravel areas too

Pretty park across the street from the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. The fireworks were beautiful at the fairgrounds and lasted about 20 minutes. The park itself has a beach, beautiful lake, playground, open picnic tables , grill, covered picnic table areas, restrooms and a snack shack. If you want to get set from the heat this is a good place to go.

This was our first camping trip in the toy hauler and we absolutely loved it here. We called a few days before arriving, were taking a last minute trip the weekend before July 4th (we actually checked out July 3rd to head home). Had left a message 2 days prior and the lady called us back stating she had a site for us and rates. Great deal. We got a site located in area 2 which was close to the water. Site was very nice with full hook ups. We decided to stay an extra night which they were fine with however the weather was not as kind. Not sure if it was ever decided that a tornado came through or if it was a microburst or what but definitely a scary moment. Within minutes after it was over and safe we ventured outside to find many people had suffered damage and one man was injured. The campground attendant took him to the hospital and everyone else began working together the clear downed trees from roads and campsites. It really was amazing how the staff and everyone came together to help each other. We did ride though area 1 and did not like it at all. Area 2 is the way to go if possible.
