Great group campground area, only negative was the toilets needed pumping/was near full and stink badly.

We had the pleasure of meeting the camphost lead while staying in north fork, Willow was not only kind and helpful, but extremely knowledgeable about Gifford Pinchot national forest and where to go see some of the most beautiful views of our lives. We hope to see her in the forest in future years and get more info about our beautiful Gifford!

This place is quiet and beautiful! If you’re looking for peace and nature , this is the spot! No cell service (just how I like it) and our spot was close to the bathroom but not to close! No showers, they have vault toilets. Really nice staff, they kept the place clean

Amazing quiet campground!

The camp hosts are so nice this year 7/2021! The sites are neat as a pin. The vault toilets are sparkling. I wasn’t thrilled with my site that recreation.gov assigned me. I was able to drive around and choose one of the available sites and make a swap. Pretty location. On a paved road the whole way from Randle.

Nice campground overall, but the group sites are amazing. Hosts this year are great.

The campground is very pretty and our site was like a little amphitheatre. The trees were perfectly placed for a hammock to hang and it was clear and clean. There were many sites not cleaned up which was sad because those were spaces with more sunshine that would have allowed the spaces to be a little warmer or to have a solar shower heat up. The camp host was pleasant and had nice recommendations. The drive to Lake Takhlakh was long and partial gravel but the view at the lake and the trail around the lake was worth every bump in the road. You can bike ride or walk the trail. The views of Mt. Adams were exceptional.

Very beautiful campground. The road through the campground is paved. Also a hiking trail located between the group camping and main camping area. Campground is closed during winter and gated but is a nice short walk during this time. The group campground requires reservations. Also a cool walking bridge between campgrounds.

Took our 4 year old on his first ever camping trip! He loved it here. Very secluded sites, and easy to get to for a family stay. Very clean, and very nice staff. Restroom facilities are extremely well kept, and we were able to keep our toddler as clean as one should be. Big trees, rumbling river, and plenty of hiking. Cant wait to come back next year! Just the way a campsite in the PNW should be.
