Located just a few miles from the Gateway to Glacier National Park, this camp ground is a very nice place to stay, its tucked up in the woods and keeps you in the Glacier Montana experience. The smaller cabins are nice, but they are primitive, meaning no plumbing, no heat, no a/c, no microwave. But they are conveniently located next to the restroom/shower house and laundry room. I'd advise to bring some padding with your bedding, as the mattress didn't favor my back so much. They have a plethora of RV spots to choose from ranging from small to large as well. All RV and tent spots have a little fire pit as well!

As soon as we pulled up and talked with the staff about our stay we had a good feeling and knew this was our kind of place. The campground is densely wooded with nice sized sites that while close still feel private. Didn't stay in the cabins or use the bathrooms and showers so can't speak to that but I will say that I personally found the train sounds that others didn't care for to be peaceful and soothing. We stayed two nights, windows open, no earplugs, will stay here again the next time we pass through.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great to get into Glacier NP. The sites are well shaded, not much for solar if you need it. The site was nice, but if you have a big rig it might be difficult. We have a 30 ft trailer and were okay, but I think you will be better off with smaller rigs. Sunflower cafe was highly recommended and deservedly so. If you need a full hookup, perfectly flat site, this is not your place. If you like the woods with simple and pleasurable camping, this might be your place.

I felt this was one of the nicest camp grounds I have visited in many years! The park is clean and well organized, the staff is cheerful and helpful, and the area is just beautiful. All camp sites are nestled amongst trees in a hilly area. There are restrooms and laundry facilities on site. Most sites have water and electricity, a dump station is available. You can buy fire wood, have it delivered to your camp site. There is a cute cafe on the property serving a variety of food choices, quite nice after a long day hiking in the park. And best of all the campground is probably less than 5 minutes from the West Glacier Entrance to the park!

Located super close to Glacier National Park the sites are close together but have trees between so it isn’t too crowded feeling. Having the Sunflower Cafe at the campground is a huge plus - we tried the BBQ for dinner and breakfast and both were great! The staff were super nice. The bathrooms leave something to be desired - there are only two for this huge campground, and there are so many people using the showers there seemed like there was always a line. Overall the stay was great once I gave up on showering. It was worth it to be so close to everything and have great food on site.
