Located just a few miles from the Gateway to Glacier National Park, this camp ground is a very nice place to stay, its tucked up in the woods and keeps you in the Glacier Montana experience. The smaller cabins are nice, but they are primitive, meaning no plumbing, no heat, no a/c, no microwave. But they are conveniently located next to the restroom/shower house and laundry room. I'd advise to bring some padding with your bedding, as the mattress didn't favor my back so much. They have a plethora of RV spots to choose from ranging from small to large as well. All RV and tent spots have a little fire pit as well!

As soon as we pulled up and talked with the staff about our stay we had a good feeling and knew this was our kind of place. The campground is densely wooded with nice sized sites that while close still feel private. Didn't stay in the cabins or use the bathrooms and showers so can't speak to that but I will say that I personally found the train sounds that others didn't care for to be peaceful and soothing. We stayed two nights, windows open, no earplugs, will stay here again the next time we pass through.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great to get into Glacier NP. The sites are well shaded, not much for solar if you need it. The site was nice, but if you have a big rig it might be difficult. We have a 30 ft trailer and were okay, but I think you will be better off with smaller rigs. Sunflower cafe was highly recommended and deservedly so. If you need a full hookup, perfectly flat site, this is not your place. If you like the woods with simple and pleasurable camping, this might be your place.

I felt this was one of the nicest camp grounds I have visited in many years! The park is clean and well organized, the staff is cheerful and helpful, and the area is just beautiful. All camp sites are nestled amongst trees in a hilly area. There are restrooms and laundry facilities on site. Most sites have water and electricity, a dump station is available. You can buy fire wood, have it delivered to your camp site. There is a cute cafe on the property serving a variety of food choices, quite nice after a long day hiking in the park. And best of all the campground is probably less than 5 minutes from the West Glacier Entrance to the park!

Located super close to Glacier National Park the sites are close together but have trees between so it isn’t too crowded feeling. Having the Sunflower Cafe at the campground is a huge plus - we tried the BBQ for dinner and breakfast and both were great! The staff were super nice. The bathrooms leave something to be desired - there are only two for this huge campground, and there are so many people using the showers there seemed like there was always a line. Overall the stay was great once I gave up on showering. It was worth it to be so close to everything and have great food on site.

You cannot beat this location for Glacier Park. It was 5 minutes from our campsite to West Glacier. The camp site was nice and the staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. The price was on the high side but you expect that with a location like this. The Sunflower cafe was great for dinner, we got the sampler platter with brisket, pork ribs, and pulled pork and it was enough for 3 hungry adults with some left over. I highly recommend the dinner there at least one night. The drinks were great too! Our site had power and water, no sewer. They do have a pump out service for an additional fee. I can only mention 2 low points keeping me from giving this place 5 stars. 1. The shower rooms and bathrooms are dated and need some upgrades. Better changing areas for each shower and more counter space is needed. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. 2. There seems to be a music venue next to the campground, some nights had loud music playing until after 11pm. it wasn't too bad where we were but camp sites to the northwest side of the park would be bothersome. We also heard an occasional train going by but it wasn't too loud and didn't bother us.

A lovely place with great amenities and wonderful people. Do note if you are a hiker/biker: at this time, they are going through renovations and are temporarily without bear boxes, and it is a little tough to find a good bear hang tree. They may be willing to accommodate you, though, depending on your hour of arrival or departure.

Location, location, location in this campground where we spent 2 weeks "Camping like it's meant to be!" Minutes from the Apgar entrance of Glacier National Park, from start to finish we had a great visit. We spoke with Lisa and she helped us with our reservation. After we arrived she came and introduced herself and checked in on us. Gus the owner was a wealth of information for my husband and his fishing quest. They have sites to accommodate all sizes of campers, from tents to rvs, with lots of room and trees between. While no sewer is on each site, there is a dump station. They also provide services (at a very convenient cost) three times a week if you wanted to have your black tank drained. Laundry and bath houses were very clean and worked for us. We also loved the Sunshine Cafe on site. After a long day of site-seeing we had some of the best BBQ ribs ever, and make sure you try the smoked salmon BLT. Wow!! We'll be back!

We were very impressed with this campground while traveling through glacier. I was able to book it the night before and they had plenty of availability. Each spot had power and water hookup which was amazing. Clean showers and bathrooms and very friendly staff. Definitely staying again!

Awesome location, very close to Glacier National Park. Beautiful views. Helpful staff. Lots of trees, for the most part. We stayed in A10, and it was pretty thin around that site. We had close neighbors, so it wasn't ideal for us. Showers were also set up a little strangely - if you are a very private person, this may not be the place for you. The laundry was handy - machines were old, but worked. They had wood for sale, along with a small thrift store and handmade items in the office. They are currently doing some construction. Our site looked to be freshly done with gravel/rock and was pretty dusty, but I'm sure that will improve after a rain or two. We would stay again.

Nice spaced out campsites, big with fire pit, tables and ours had water spigots. Bathrooms had showers, running hot water and clean facilities. Checking was super easy, we arrived really late and the info was right on the front door so you knew where to go. The next morning checkout was also easy and the host provided some great info.

Such an awesome place to stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful with my late arrival and I loved the cabin I stayed in. It just had a full/queen sized bed, a bunk bed, and then a little porch but that’s exactly what I was looking for. The restroom facility was very well kept. And lastly, the location to the park was great! It took me about 5 minutes to get into the park via bicycle and then and 3 or 4 to get to the Apgar area of the park.

Sites are small - 24' max I believe - but sufficient. Folks are friendly & helpful!
