Campground is in Glacier National Park - so you need a park pass for access and you need reservations (early - fills up fast). Campground was ok - campsites were well set up. However, the C loop restrooms were out of order (porta-potties available) and showers were only on the A loop (first come first served). Some late evening arrivals were a bit noisy, but overall, the camping was good. Ranger programs were all very good, available each evening.

Great campground in Glacier National Park. Quiet and away from crowds. Sites are close together but still offer a little privacy. Bear boxes are shared between 6-8 camp sites & when I arrived, the one near me was full. Every site should have their own since there are active bears in this campground. Showers only available in loop A & there's no parking there. I camped in loop C and we only had outhouse toilets due to restrooms being closed. I probably won't go back to this campground. The Fish Creek day use area is nice for lake access & clean restroom.

We stayed on the B loop and found it was a perfect fit for our Glacier trip. We had easy access to bathrooms, water, flat ground, and appreciated the ranger-led hike and evening programs offered. Cell connection was spotty but definitely possible at times. We used a 2 person tent while many in the loops were in RVs, but overall the immediate area was quiet. People seemed responsible with trash to mitigate bear incursions and the provided food lockers helped as well.

This campground was amazing. It was much quieter than Apgar, the hosts were very helpful and friendly, and the easy access to a less crowded shoreline of Lake McDonald. We loved our site, and wished we had of booked Fish Creek for all 3 nights, rather than 2 at Apgar.

Would not recommend if you are in glacier. I would not recommend west glacier for that matter. Apagar didn’t seem any good either. Some of the pull through sites are a joke. Incredibly tight, and very uneven. Trees in the way of where the slide goes, and rocks where the wheels sit. Had to exit through the passenger door when setting up.

Great campground for tent or Rv. Very close to the water. Nice bathrooms with running water and showers. Not far from the beautiful lake. Allows pets.

This is an older campground shaded by tall cedars. Beautiful … but tight for RVs. The individual campsites are large, but driveways are narrow and short. These sites are ideal for families with two tents and two cars. These dump station does not have water to rinse the tanks. And the drinking water has a high level of manganese.

Our space, A24, was perfect. We were located near the showers but the space was quite quiet. it was nice to have several large trees and quite a bit of privacy, There was a significant thunderstorm with hail which made it a very memorable camping experience. The water at the campground tastes good. Highly recommend this camp ground!

Great campground! The sited are just far enough apart that you don't have to hear your neighbors conversations. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and showers were warm. Lots of trails that lead off the campground to beautiful Lake Mcdonald. We rented kayaks to see the amazing rocks and crystal clean waters. Tent sites are just big enough for a 6 person tent and the fire rings are nice. Can't wait to revisit Fish Creek Campground.

We tent camped in the non-generator C loop at site 114. It was right across from the trail down to Lake MacDonald and Rocky Point trail - both of which did not disappoint!! Our site was very small for our 14x9 tent, but we made it work. The restrooms were clean, but did not offer soap. You needed to wash your dishes at your site, but they did have a water dump station by the bathrooms which was super nice. Shared bear boxes were available, but we did not use one. We kept everything in our vehicle. Park rangers frequented the loop a lot and it was great to see they were checking on everyone and their site. They will definitely cite you for anything not correct or food or food items left out. So much to do in this park and definitely recommend camping here, just be aware some of the sites are small and very close to others. We camped in June and some nights could see our breath it was so chilly, so pack accordingly!

Closed for the season. You'll need 4wd to get to the bottom, it's not plowed.
