Beautiful well maintained public park. Picnic pavilion and plenty of tables. Shaded with lots of trees and cool even in our Alabama 100° f weather. Great place for family and friends gatherings for picnics and excercise. Wonderful walking trails. Marked with miles and resting benches. No pets allowed. Service dogs only. Adjacent to the baseball fields and clanton park district building. Water ways and beautiful river scape. Squirrels every where... Feel free to bring snacks to feed the squirrels. Adjacent park has frizby playing course, like golf but for your frizbys. Sorry if I didn't spell that right. Ha! Anyway I love it. And you will too. Enjoy....

Growing up going to Goose Pond Park I have a lot of fond memories of this place. This last time I was there I really paid attention to the way the asphalt really needs some TLC. Walking after sundown you could trip easily in some spots. Some of the benches are old I need replacing. Now they concrete walking Track going over to the ball fields is nice and in good condition.
