I've had far better campings for less money. The camping is a barren field, there are no trees/bushes and fences for decoration and to stop the wind. The facilities are lacking; You have to pay for the showers, but the showers and restrooms are not clean. Furthermore there is no place to do the dishes, you have to do this on a picnic table. For 49 dollar a night, I expected better. One plus is the staff, they are very friendly.

So glad we were able to get in last minute. I think our rv pulled more power than our spot we reserved could handle cause we weren't able to run our heater. But it was nice to get a hot shower in the morning.
Dated camp ground. More investment needed for a RV park so close to the GC. Expected so much more! On the brighter side, office rep was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
What a great surprise! HUGE Campground wit walkway up to the town which had many choices for dining, souveneirs and shopping. WONDERFUL General Store. They had many items I have never seen. That might be because we are from SC! Only store for quite a distance.
We left the Grand Canyon National Park at around 6pm to find out our reservation for the night was a campground located 1 hour away. It was my mistake completely since I made the reservation without checking on distances. We had to come back to the park again the next morning (we had a couple more nights in the campground inside the park). So, I was going to have to drive an hour just to drive the same hour back the next morning. On our way out of the Park I saw this campground and asked my husband to stop to find out rates and availability. I explained our situation to the host and he was so helpful, he found a nice site for us and gave me a discount because he knew I was going to loose my money on the other reservation. He was super welcoming and my family and I were so thankful. We only spent one night, but the size of the sites are great. The park is nice and the location couldn’t be better. I’m definitely coming back for my next visit.
