My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Canyon Camper Village in our spacious 40-foot motorhome during the beautiful late summer months of August 2025. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the park's immaculate grounds and charming aesthetic. The vibrant greenery and well-tended landscaping created a picturesque setting for relaxation. We chose this RV park primarily for its proximity to the Grand Canyon South Rim Area, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The campsites were clean and well-maintained, offering a rustic charm that enhanced our camping experience. We enjoyed being just a pleasant stroll away from quaint local shops and family-friendly restaurants (just a tip: DO NOT eat at the local McDonald's; it cost us $34 for 2 Big Macs and 2 fries). Plus, we were less than 2 miles from the iconic Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. The on-site store was impressively stocked with a wide array of supplies and essentials, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. The staff members greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requirements. As we explored the area, we noticed several other campgrounds and RV parks, but none compared to the aesthetic and upkeep of the Grand Canyon Camper Village. Its beauty and maintenance truly set it apart. Without a doubt, we are looking forward to returning to this wonderful campground on our next adventure to the Grand Canyon! Thank you, Joanne and the rest of the team at Grand Canyon Camper Village! Best regards, Dave & Tamitra Huckins

Very basic. gravel, minimal grass parking lot with flat sites. Located behind a grocery store. Run down picnic tables, no fire rings. Entrance to Grand Canyon National Park park very close

We had a very nice time here at the Grand Canyon Camper Village. The staff is very nice and helpful. We didn't have no reservation we pulled in and we were able to get a full hook up for two nights, the price was reasonable and the location was great. The laundry room was clean. I definitely will use this place again.

The location in town and close to the Grand Canyon keep this campground going. The quiet time of 10:00pm-8:00am doesn’t apply to the trash truck that came through and shook the 50 dumpsters like piñatas at 6:40am. The staff was friendly and allowed us to move from a lunar site to one that was partial gravel. We were not given a full hook up site even though several were open our entire stay. Not sure what the disconnect was with that. There was a payment issue that is in process of resolution. A general store and plenty of shops are within walking distance. There is a decent trail in the back of the park. We did enjoy the helicopters and airplanes flying by during the day. I would probably stay here again but would try to get inside the park.

Clean bathroom and shower area. Easy after hrs checkin. First night was loud with a group that came in. But nice and quiet after they left. Had some cute visitors to the campground.

This campground is best choice if you want the shops and the Canyon rim in walking distance. Nice trail in the shadow of trees to the rim.The full hook up site was very good and our RV was in the shadows of a tree. The sanitary facilities were under construction so we did not use them. Site Reservation is a must.

Wonderful Stay at Grand Canyon RV Camper Village! I had an amazing experience staying at the Grand Canyon RV Camper Village. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and very accommodating. The location is fantastic — close enough to the park to enjoy stunning views and quick access, but also peaceful and relaxing. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive, making check-in and check-out smooth and enjoyable. I appreciated the amenities offered, including the hookups, clean restrooms, and laundry facilities, which made my stay comfortable and convenient. Whether you're an avid adventurer or simply looking to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery, I highly recommend the Grand Canyon RV Camper Village. It truly enhanced my trip and I would definitely return! Would you like a more personalized review? Feel free to tell me about your experience!

No frills campground but can’t beat the convenient location and surrounding amenities. Super friendly and helpful office staff too!

Great place to park an RV, sprinter, or tent camping. All spots were flat, had fire pits, and picnic tables. Bathrooms on site were fine but old, most likely from the 60's. While it was amazing to have a token run shower, the pressure (women's BR) was awfully light.

First, let me say, great staff experience...that's about it. For a campground hosting one of the worlds 7 natural wonders, I was a bit disappointed overall. It's run down, sites are VERY close together, amenities are old and the full-time sites give off a "Joe Dirt" feeling with little care shown for upkeep or presentation. The only positive I can give is the 1 mile distance to the GC Park entrance, and that's evidently what keeps them going. Sorry, but I expected more...

Very easy drive into the Grand Canyon. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed to switch spots. Check in was easy after hours. Easy to walk to town - restaurants, gas station, general store. Some spots were very close to each other, we were basically touching our neighbors. Bathrooms could’ve used a good cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay here for a couple nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. It is just about a 10 min drive to the park entrance. It is walking distance to a lot of the local stores and restaurants. We got a pull-thru site, but it was extremely cramped. Way too close to neighbors on both sides of us. No privacy from others around you. One neighbor was side by side to us with picnic tables and chairs. Vehicles barely fit in the spaces. The grassy areas were covered in tons of ant hills and fox tail weeds which made it very difficult taking our dogs to potty or walk around. We had to stick to the gravel areas the entire time because all the foxtail kept getting stuck in their paws and fur. There is however a beautiful paved greenway trail within walking distance right across from the campgrounds we enjoyed hiking on with our dogs and kids. It’s not a bad place to stay for a night or so to be in such close distance to the park. It would have been nice if they had a playground for kids. They had a very run down basketball court but no balls.

I've had far better campings for less money. The camping is a barren field, there are no trees/bushes and fences for decoration and to stop the wind. The facilities are lacking; You have to pay for the showers, but the showers and restrooms are not clean. Furthermore there is no place to do the dishes, you have to do this on a picnic table. For 49 dollar a night, I expected better. One plus is the staff, they are very friendly.

So glad we were able to get in last minute. I think our rv pulled more power than our spot we reserved could handle cause we weren't able to run our heater. But it was nice to get a hot shower in the morning.

Dated camp ground. More investment needed for a RV park so close to the GC. Expected so much more! On the brighter side, office rep was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
