This is a nice park, with a wonderful swimming area. It was reasonably clean. Lots of area for kids to run around and play. Loads of fishing opportunities. The picnic tables at the camp sites are well covered. It's a quiet park, also. Review would have been 5 stars had it not been for the bath houses.

Can’t believe it only cost $5 for a day pass. You should know they don’t accept cash, entry can only be done via online using a card. But it’s easy to do

We celebrated Easter here this year and had a wonderful time. It was clean and the restrooms stayed available. Picknik area is cool as hell and covered with grills.

This is just for the swim beach, I have not explored the campsites though it was full of campers on a Saturday. Swim beach is small, but rocks are smooth, and the water is a great depth for children. I went on a Saturday, around 12 p.m., and felt like I had the place to myself. I could see it getting very crowded on during the summer, and there's no shade. I don't feel like there's a lot of room to set up a canapy either. Bathrooms were decently clean. Parking is right next to the beach.

Nice place one of my favorite places to go fishing unfortunately I don't know how much longer that will be because from what I understand they're wanting to charge you for everything over there now

Favorite family place to camp. Trails and playground and swim beach but you have to drive to that area

So we live in N Austin. We wanted to get out of town, but not too far out, and somewhere other than Georgetown, for a different camping experience. We like wooded camp sites near lakes, with the potential for hiking explorations. We decided to try out Wilson H. Fox because of it's proximity and what it stated it offered. I also prefer using Recreation.gov as a research site when looking at camping. We stayed in camp site 8. We were worried it may be too close to site 10, and it may be for some. It's what's behind that counts. This site backs along Granger Lake, with wooded trees. The Army Corp of Engineers offer covered picnic tables and a fire pit with full hookup for electricity and water. There is also a dump station on site. I would say site 6 and 4 are also very nice. There are bathrooms and playgrounds also available. During the warmer months, bring your boat, as the is also a boat ramp and pier available. The camp hosts were very nice, as were our neighboring campers. Although I wish there was more hiking, when warmer, we'll definitely bring our kayaks.
