WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS !! they ain’t worth the one. Very upset & can’t really say nothing nice about this place . we booked a site , couldn’t use it do to a terrible accident ( that totaled both truck & camper ) . with that been said , we tried to call the place NO ANSWER ( but answered or blown up our phone to get us to book a site ) message us after 6 hours ( we had to find another place ) with everything we have been through basically told us she would give us out money back , but could credit us if our friend wasn’t using our site . they site are so tiny that if we was able to be there with our camper our slide out would been on their porch & their awning would been against our slide out , but don’t worry we won’t be back . we had to share electrical pole . also the fire pits was basically under our campers . we was told when we booked we had river view ( it was a lie , we was looking at someone else camper ) totally to small for a camper place , not even talking about the pull in . VERY DISAPPOINTING with a 3 plus hour drive !

Three stars only because the Camp hosts never came and introduced themselves nor asked us if everything was okay. Paid extra for a Riverfront spot which was never Riverfront at all our site overlooked the porta potty for the tent camping sites. Although the sites were tight they were kept up pretty nice all of the other employees we're very helpful and kind maybe the camp host can take some lessons from the other employees.

My husband and I was traveling back to Tennessee from Massachusetts this holiday weekend and stumbled on this place while desperately trying to find a place to set up our camper for the weekend. Thank goodness we found this hidden gem!! The staff was super friendly, bath house was clean and nice, campsite was spacious, and wifi was great! For the first time, we weren't ready to go home when it was time to leave!! We'll definitely be back. Don't sleep on this little place folks!

We had a fantastic time meeting up with friends and enjoyed our stay a lot. Traveling with two dogs there had a wonderful time walking a long the river and taking a bath in it. Nice and quiet stay weather was perfect for some campfire with Doris and Fred and learns a lot about surrounding area to see. Will be back.

Super fun! Did not stay here, but stopped by for the river tubing experience and I am glad we did! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The float itself was a mix of relaxing and exciting. However, be ready to just get dropped off into the river and let loose. No guides or staff members stay with you during the float, so stay with your people and be prepared to get yourself out of the river and walk back to the campground at the end. Overall great experience!

Debated on what kind of rating here, as we didn't have a bad time this past weekend, but there were some things that simply cannot be overlooked. Being from beautiful NC when I think of West VA I think of rural mountain towns and quiet river bends. While that certainly exist, Greenbrier isn't that kind of place. 63 is a very busy road that is right beside the campground with loud traffic moving almost nonstop throughout the day and night. Coming primarily from the Lewisburg direction from what I could gather. On top of that, there are railroad tracks right across the river that are almost as busy with long trains. I stopped counting at 7 our first evening. Every spot appears to have all the regular RV amenities, electric...water (though slightly brown with sediment, so bring your filter) and sewer, with most spots taken up by what appear to be seasonal folks. Was disappointed to discover that the RV sites aren't right on the river, that's mostly reserved for primitive campers, of which we were for many years. Bathrooms are clean and they have wood and kindling available for purchase (honor system). Never did much run into the owners, they kind of just let us do our thing. Spaces are very easy to get into and out of, which I definitely appreciate. The area (New River Gorge...etc) is certainly beautiful, but we will likely stay at one of the several state parks within the area in the future to experience the true nature of camping.

Very charming campground in a beautiful location right on the river. The campground is super clean and has numerous nooks to sit and relax under the vines and trees or along the river. I was really impressed with the 'decor' that gave the campground a homey yet sophisticated feel. The owners Bob and Beverly were friendly and helpful. Everyone got together for Labor Day for a barbecue and live music. Plenty to do in the area - a wonderful place for a vacation.

This campground is right on the river, which is beautiful. We were lucky enough to have a river view, with wonderful big shade trees. We were checked in with a sweet wonderful lady who had all the info we needed to find our spot and set up, which was a breeze. We really appreciated the raised deck with picnic table at our site. There are trains that run during the night just across the creek from the camp sites, not really a big deal. There is not a dog park, but a large grassy area to walk them.
