Office staff absolutely rude from the start. There were dangerous power lines down. Pool was closed for 2 years, and they still tell you there is a pool. Worst campground we ever stayed at. Water quality so poor even with an expensive water filter plus a Brit-a it dripped orange. We had to purchase water. I’ve read all the reviews. You have a lot of 1’s & 3’s. I would try to fix the things that people are complaining about instead of blaming the customer. When people don’t know each other and complain about the same things obviously there’s a problem there. Their store was empty. They focused on rules when they didn’t follow themselves.

If you’re looking for a place based on easy access from the highway, this qualifies. If you’re looking for KOA brand hospitality, you will not find it here. The sites are fairly level, quite close to one another, but in order. Can’t speak to the “amenities” or facilities because we were just overnighting. But the surly face-to-face interaction and the 2hrs of not answering their phones is enough to not want to recommend this location to family or friends.

So I booked this online for my dad’s 65 birthday party. It’s only about two hours away from me so when I got off work, I decided to stay home and go the next day. So I woke up took the dogs out, then packed and as I’m driving up, I get an email telling me that they canceled my reservation. What?? Why?? So I called and they finally called me back and said cause I wasn’t there yet. Ok what does it matter? I paid for two nights. She also told me that my cabin was given to someone else. I will never book here again. They kept my deposit of $80. Why?? Not fair and not good business. So don’t book here if something happens and you don’t get there on time. They told me that if I would have called them and told them it would have been different. They wouldn’t have canceled it. Ok. What about you calling and checking in with me?? I called about ten times before someone would answer. I mean it is what it is. But regardless what if I would have gotten into a wreck or something? Maybe y’all could have contacted me too?

This was the first interaction I have ever had with a KOA. We planned a trip across several states and decided to stay at KOA sites due to their proximity to the interstate and ease of booking. We planned our trip in our recently acquired schoolie and had a few mechanical problems, causing our first night to be spent in a truck stop instead of the KOA that we reserved, and to be late getting to this one. When we finally got to the site, the main office was closed, so I called the number listed on my reservation, to receive no answer. my wife and I were talking about what our next steps were when a lady came over asking what we were doing there. I said we had a reservation and were trying to find our site number. She then told me that we couldn't stay there because we were in a bus and it was loud. Apparently, this old B doesn't realize that engines get quieter when you shut them off because she just kept saying that we were too loud and we couldn't stay there since my bus (which is licensed and registered as a motor home) wasn't recognized as a proper RV. I looked back at the reservation and campsite information and didn't see anything about them being too conceited to allow us peasants with buses on their royal grounds. They did refund my money, which in my opinion was the least they could do since they ran us off like we were a bunch of infectious miscreants, forcing us to drive well into the next morning before we could find a place to stay since it was Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. Oh, and in case you are wondering why you won't see this review on the KOA website, they won't let you review campsites if your reservation is cancelled. To clarify some things in the owners response, yes it was late but not quite 10pm. My Google maps time stamp shows me at your location between 9:45 and 9:56 PM. Also if your employee would have asked to see my paperwork, she would have seen that my bus is licensed, titled and insured as a motor home but she would rather assume than verify. No other camp site has any problems with our vehicle including other KOAs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Even from the first phone call to find out about the different sites available, the gentleman was super friendly and even gave us some information where to find local places to visit. We are so glad he did, we ended up spending an afternoon at the Greensboro Science Center and the kids had an awesome time exploring! When we arrived after hours it was very easy to grab our packet that was waiting for us and continue on to our site. Our check in envelope had cute little stickers on it and one said Happy Camper, such a sweet welcome. Little things like that do not go unnoticed and make you feel welcomed. Our site was fine with a picnic table and fire pit and exactly what we needed after a long drive. The KOA was also very clean and had a cute dog park for our fur baby to run and play. We felt very safe and had three great nights of sleep. All in all, a great stay, safe, slept great, clean area, felt welcomed and you really can’t put a price on that!

We just needed a place for a night and laundry. No coin machine so the laundry was a bust. Pool was a mess, but it was out of season. Shower drain was clogged. Site was not level. Its was easy to find, had good and easy access, and the staff answered the phone after 5pm. Not up to usual KOA standards from our experiences at other KOA.

Really nice, close to shops while still feeling like you're camping in the woods. Well lit and well cared for, no wild animals to scare the little ones. Theres a good sized k9 park for your pups to run and a playground for the littles. The bathroom and laundry rooms are kept clean, cute cabins to rent also available. The couple running it have been super nice, helping us as we're on our 1st rv trip. Definitely would recommend!

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

The grounds were well maintained and the staff member in the office was kind and competent. My only complaint is with the RV park industry as a whole as prices are rising during a time when we need to use our RVs more to visit friends and family safely. It is a shame.

This was our first time EVER setting up our travel trailer, our maiden voyage as they say. They staff there were incredibly helpful and supportive as we set up the travel trailer for the first time. They checked on us at least 3 times the first day to make sure we were doing ok! I really appreciated that. The noise from the interstate is present, be aware of that when you book. This is a great place to set up for visiting the area. I wouldn't pick this place for a camping experience.
