10/10 camping experience. The weather was a bit soggy but the views were incredible. Small campground with everything you need in close proximity. Options to camp or rent a cabin, due to the time of year we really had most of the place to ourselves. I will definitely be back.

Stopped here on bicycle while touring Newfoundland. Really fantastic campground. The scenery is phenomenal, the swimming is good, almost all of the sites I saw had plenty of grass for tent setups as well as good condition picnic tables. The facilities are also very new here with extremely clean and modern washrooms, showers, and group shelter.

Lomond Park is stunning. We have camped here many times over the years. There are many reasons for this...it's clean, safe, well maintained, friendly staff, stunning scenery, quiet and overall very convenient to travel to other places in the park. Two years in a row we are stayed at their cabins. They are comfortable and clean. They have a double bed with a plastic mattress and surprisingly comfortable. There is a cute mini wood stove if needed. A table with four chairs, a fold down small couch, perfect for kids and a shelf to store things. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed coffee there every morning. There is also a full size bar b q. The solar panels let you charge electronics. We stayed in cabin 4, and our opinion is that this is the best for the view and the closeness to the comfort station. Love it here. There is a very friendly boat launch and we were able to use our boat to further explore this amazing area of beauty.

We had cabin #3, it was clean and cozy, and the aroma of the wood made it more romantic. Bathroom and toilet are outside in a comfort area. The cabin has a propane BBQ.. Us coming from Ontario, the drive from the highway seems like forever from the highway where the big sign was that Google maps led us.. our interest was the table lands so we chose the Lomond camp sites . We drive all the way to Woody point about an hour to book a cabin and it was on top of the hill. And back track half an hour to reach the cabin.

We stayed two nights on one of the waterfront tent sites and it was without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I've ever woken up. The mountains, the water, the wilderness are all right at hand. The beach was rocky and there was quite a bit of seaweed along the shore. We definitely got in for a dip and didn't regret it. Lovely spot for a swim and we saw lots of kayaks and boats going out while we were there. One thing I wasn't expecting was the condensation on the tent in the morning. We had borrowed equipment that wasn't water tight and we woke up a bit damp each morning despite the beautiful days and nights. Most tents (and campers) will tolerate the moisture just fine. We didn't get to hike the Stanleyville trail, but we'd love to come back and do it next time we're in the area. The cabins looked great too. The bathrooms are at the top of the campground from the waterfront tent sites, so prepare for a few bedtime and early morning hill-climbs! Great spot!

What a great place to camp. Such beautiful views. There is not much to do in the cam ground itself but the surrounding areas have packed with actives. The park staff was super involved.. they are helpful no doute, but its kind of weird if you are used to camping where the rangers pay no mind.

Beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Quieter park. The only problem was the showers. Last time we were there I had a cold shower 5 out of 6 days because they couldn't get the hot water figured out.
