Many things to do here. Trails to explore. Many people ride their bikes. Motorized bikes not allowed. There’s an upper pond and a lower lake and a marsh, and a few bridges make the journey fun. There’s camping —-no tent camping —but trailer camping. Playgrounds are well kept and safe. Have to pay to park. Many trees are deliberately not trimmed in the name of conservation? Stay away during fire season.

I’m so sad, I spent years here with my children enjoying the park. I came a few times and and had a great time enjoying the park, only yesterday I couldn’t get a reservation online so I called and paid over the phone. The person who took my reservation did not write the correct email and I never received any confirmation. I hooked up and left to get supplies and when I returned the gate was locked so I looked for my email and nothing, so I called and no answer, I left a message marked urgent! But nothing so I drove home disappointed. I emailed and called again and they said just leave, we have another person coming. I feel so hurt, and disappointed. I emailed in hopes of staying another night and putting this behind me with communication and an apology for yesterday but they said just leave? Unbelievable the entire situation is unbelievable! So sad yesterday no one was anywhere, today they were out and about, but still no paperwork on my windshield as if I was so neglected. I disappointed in the staff there. I found sheet metal screws on the ground again? Odd? When driving away the guy was angry because I said something about everything.

Just a staple here is the city. Perfect for walking, running or cycling. Plenty of space to play ball, two playgrounds for the little ones and plenty of picnic areas.

Such a beautiful and relaxing spot to spend time in nature! The peaceful trails are perfect for a morning walk or afternoon hike, and the variety of birds makes it a birdwatcher’s paradise. Beautiful scenery, lots of trails and paths, and plenty of nature to enjoy. Highly recommend for a relaxing outdoor escape.

Awesome park with lots to do. Playground for the kids, BBQ pits for the grill daddys, lake front trail for the bikers and runners, and even a small RV camping lot. My group decided to BBQ, olay horseshoes, and volleyball today. Awesome spot for outdoor fun of all kinds.

Second time renting cabin A. The oven was out of order when we arrived on July 1st. Hopefully, they will fix that soon. The campground is clean, and there are plenty of walking trails to enjoy solo or with your families. Compared to other cabins, the price is right and affordable.

This is a great place to enjoy birds! The park is well maintained, and the bathrooms are too! You can fish in the pond and walk around it. There's walk ways all over and big trees. I love to go here.

We loved camping here and walking some trails with my dogs

I love coming to this park. It’s relatively quiet, peaceful, and big enough where it’s great to get a nice trail walk in without going too far! I paid for the yearly parking rate in January, which was $25. Soooo worth it. The daily rate is not worth it if you come multiple times! The rate is now doubled to $50 a year or $5 a day. Be sure to look out for duck and horse poop on the trails. The campground is also relatively quiet, and I’ve never had any issue or concern with the occupants that stay there when I’m walking around. My only wish is that they had better irrigation for the grass hills. It can be quite muddy during rainy season- even if several days go by of sunshine, there seems to always be mud on the nice green hills.

Big and nice park, some unpaved trails along the lake, a lot of ducks and some people fishing at the lake. Parking is $3 but it will increase to $5 after 2/18. Dog on leash allowed.

A very nice regional park campground with a lake and clean bathrooms/showers. And it's only 8 miles from the beach! The campsites are close together, but that can be overlooked because of the beautiful surroundings right in the middle of Oceanside.

Great hidden treasure off the 76 in North County. There’s plenty of trails here for walking , biking and horseback riding. Trails are clearly marked and have speed warning signs for people on bikes. There’s a campground nearby and an attached parking area that cost $3 for the day. I opted to park on one of the residential streets across from the entrance to the trails. The trails go past two lakes and there a few little bridges that span the streams that feed into the lakes. I saw lots of birds, a rabbit and a weasel of some sort. There are warning signs for rattlesnakes but I didn’t see any reptiles. Great park with decent selection of trails. There a sparingly few trash cans so please take your trash with you and keep the park clean

Originally came here many years ago as an only option available for camping. Been back probably 10 times. Love this place. Seems far off the beaten path but yet it's close to stores if needed. Has a great lake, nature trail, 2 playgrounds, outdoor gym, pickleball court, and a beach volleyball court.

Very nice local park. RV sites are spaced at a nice distance from each other. Only partial hook ups for water and electric, but there is a dump station. Very reasonable rates. Only 4 stars because of having to use dump station.

We like Guajome Park a lot. There is nice play equipment for my preschooler, including swings. There are extensive trails for walking as a family. I have only begun to explore them. There is also a pond which attracts the usual ducks. My teens enjoyed playing on the wide grassy areas too.
