We have never felt more welcome and at home than we did, staying at Haggards. We spent two weeks in Colorado exploring (and working). The owners made accommodations for us to keep my husbands work truck on site. Which is a huge win for us. They let us borrow their propane fire pit when we realized we couldn’t have a wood fire pit due to high winds. (Thank you for those nights spent by the campfire!!!) the sites are huge with plenty of space! You will not feel cramped at all. The views are unbelievable, with mountains surrounding you on all sides, but east. There is little to no light pollution so nights are DARK which makes the stars illuminated like nothing I’ve seen before. The milky way was so prominent every night. The dog park is very large. The location is central to a number of attractions like Garden of the Gods, Bishops Castle, Royal Gorge, and even The Great Sand Dunes National Park (2.5 hours but so worth the drive). There’s laundry on site, available 24/7 A little convenient store inside the office A pool for warmer seasons Cute little park for kids And owners who are local natives who are so knowledgeable of the area. You won’t regret your stay! Thank you a million Nancy & Matt for the memories made. If we’re in the area again, we will happily book with Haggards!

Location is great for visiting the many sites and activities in Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. Owner is very gracious and helpful to sharing her knowledge of the area. Would definitely stay again.

We did not want to leave!!!! Absolutely love this RV Campground! Nancy is amazing, and the view is magical!!! Location is great, just far enough from city hubbub, and just near enough to everything you need! We felt totally safe, and it's pretty quiet! And a pool?! That's right, there is a sweet lil pool to cool off in!! A wonderful area to off leash your doggo! A place to do laundry, spacious bathrooms, and showers! What an amazing place, and they keep it up so well!! We are definitely coming back! Thank you, Nancy!

Great RV campground. Owners are amazing people. Very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful 2 nights here. Pool was very enjoyable. Just a short drive to Royal Gorge. And some great food in canyon city. If we pass by here in the future it will definitely be on our RV stay list.

We stayed at Haggard’s RV Campground in Pueblo, CO for a quick overnight stop. It’s a basic, no-frills campground, but it served its purpose for the night. GPS directions were misleading, so be sure to enter from Highway 50 near mile marker 298. The campground is set in the open plains with scenic mountain views to the west, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were clean but a bit spooky at night due to dim lighting. On top of that, having to enter a code to use the restroom was a bit of an inconvenience, especially when juggling late-night trips in the dark. The camp is very close to the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable all night. We also arrived after hours, and check-in was a bit of a process, but the host was very friendly and accommodating once we connected. With some updated amenities and a few improvements, this park could be a great stop. For now, it’s a decent option for an overnight stay, and nearby towns make it easy to find anything you might need.
