We have never felt more welcome and at home than we did, staying at Haggards. We spent two weeks in Colorado exploring (and working). The owners made accommodations for us to keep my husbands work truck on site. Which is a huge win for us. They let us borrow their propane fire pit when we realized we couldn’t have a wood fire pit due to high winds. (Thank you for those nights spent by the campfire!!!) the sites are huge with plenty of space! You will not feel cramped at all. The views are unbelievable, with mountains surrounding you on all sides, but east. There is little to no light pollution so nights are DARK which makes the stars illuminated like nothing I’ve seen before. The milky way was so prominent every night. The dog park is very large. The location is central to a number of attractions like Garden of the Gods, Bishops Castle, Royal Gorge, and even The Great Sand Dunes National Park (2.5 hours but so worth the drive). There’s laundry on site, available 24/7 A little convenient store inside the office A pool for warmer seasons Cute little park for kids And owners who are local natives who are so knowledgeable of the area. You won’t regret your stay! Thank you a million Nancy & Matt for the memories made. If we’re in the area again, we will happily book with Haggards!

Location is great for visiting the many sites and activities in Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. Owner is very gracious and helpful to sharing her knowledge of the area. Would definitely stay again.

We did not want to leave!!!! Absolutely love this RV Campground! Nancy is amazing, and the view is magical!!! Location is great, just far enough from city hubbub, and just near enough to everything you need! We felt totally safe, and it's pretty quiet! And a pool?! That's right, there is a sweet lil pool to cool off in!! A wonderful area to off leash your doggo! A place to do laundry, spacious bathrooms, and showers! What an amazing place, and they keep it up so well!! We are definitely coming back! Thank you, Nancy!

Great RV campground. Owners are amazing people. Very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful 2 nights here. Pool was very enjoyable. Just a short drive to Royal Gorge. And some great food in canyon city. If we pass by here in the future it will definitely be on our RV stay list.

We stayed at Haggard’s RV Campground in Pueblo, CO for a quick overnight stop. It’s a basic, no-frills campground, but it served its purpose for the night. GPS directions were misleading, so be sure to enter from Highway 50 near mile marker 298. The campground is set in the open plains with scenic mountain views to the west, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were clean but a bit spooky at night due to dim lighting. On top of that, having to enter a code to use the restroom was a bit of an inconvenience, especially when juggling late-night trips in the dark. The camp is very close to the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable all night. We also arrived after hours, and check-in was a bit of a process, but the host was very friendly and accommodating once we connected. With some updated amenities and a few improvements, this park could be a great stop. For now, it’s a decent option for an overnight stay, and nearby towns make it easy to find anything you might need.

Nancy is one of the BEST RV park hosts EVER. She is so friendly and helpful. Gave us a huge list of fun things to do in the area. The park had the most AMAZING views. We were in heaven. This is definitely a place we would go to again. It is a gem!

I've been traveling and living in an RV for 5 years now and I can say with a full throat this is one of my favorite stops I've made. This may not be the "best" location for a park on the map but it really is an excellent one in practice. It's a clean and modest little family owned place with that RV park charm we are rapidly losing to cooperate ownership and it's situated on a fantastic little piece of the high desert. I bit of a storm blew in when I was there and it was a fantastic experience to simply just sit out and watch the sky. Pet friendly, people friendly, with little touches that are thought out with a love for camping in mind. These people really care about those of us who pass through their little park and the evidence is abundant it's an authentic care. They do so many little things they don't have to just to make your stay better. Little juke boxes playing music, affordable snacks and sodas, a wonderful little dog corral, and how they treat their visitors. These people like owning a campground and it really shows. GET off 35 and take a night here, you won't regret it.

Excellent! Beautiful area, friendly & very helpful staff. Nice neighbors. For us, it was perfect!!! :). Thanks! We were in a pull through spot with a nice tree for shade & a picnic table. The office included a small store & next to the office was a nice laundry room.

Matt and especially Nancy are about as good as they come as camp hosts. They are so friendly and helpful but not intrusive. As others have mentioned bring your own water for drinking and coffee/tea. Spaces are spacious and the sunsets breathtaking. Large dog park. A little noisy from the highway somewhat distracting but overall a great place to experience.

This place is amazing! Plenty of room. Welcomes animals with open arms (maybe horses, too?) Hot showers. Easy pull through sites. Electric, dump and water available (note: it's well water with lots of iron, so have plenty of drinking water.) owners who are willing to help with whatever you need. Not from Architecture Digest, rustic and charming!

Very nice people here. Considerate and professional. Enter off 50. Google took me all around 120.

Super nice host. Helpful. Large spots. Can't give a 5 due to the water situation (red iron water; we didn't use it) but she was very up front about it so we knew before we arrived. Only stayed the one night and used Passport America.

Best place to stay AND they accommodated us last minute after another place fell through! Pool and facilities are amazing, along side the view and animals we visited on the property! Ohhhh and the dog park is amazingly spacious too! Will be back soon hopefully, thanks so much🤗🥰

The owners were phenomenal hosts! Their grounds are clean and welcoming. This is the place to stay when heading through the area. Beautiful view of Pikes Peak, great sunset! Our kiddos made a mess in their bathroom, they allowed us to hold our kids accountable and clean their horses poop! We thank you for allowing our boys to be accountable!

Great place to watch the sunset. Friendly hosts. Our dogs enjoyed the dog pen. Not much shade or trees but that is the Pueblo experience. This is probably your best bet in the Pueblo area.
