Tried to book and enjoyable stay at Happy Jack RV park and cabins requested a cabin with a full kitchen and when we arrived we got a one bedroom cabin with a microwave. Lack of communication over the phone that I would be given a smaller cabin was not made clear and ruined the trip! I will never return.

Awful service. I was told Happy Jack sold and many regulars are leaving. I can see why. It took several tries just to get a response and after calls and emails, finally booked a $230 three night reservation (which is already outrageous). The very next day, I was told a repair on my camper wouldn’t be done in time so I promptly called Happy Jack and explained what happened and asked if they could refund me and I’d reschedule when my camper was repaired. I was told they have a 30-day cancel policy and they would not refund, only book another time before the end of the year. So I reluctantly rescheduled for another day, not knowing if I could actually go based on the repair. Turns out I can’t and they refuse to budge. They won’t credit me. Won’t refund me. I have to pick a day before the end of the year during the off season or I lose my money and I don’t have an estimated date for the repair. Absolutely zero flexibility, rude and unreasonable. This is the reason I despise campgrounds.

We went to the RV park Fourth of July weekend. The RV park was well kept the restaurant was a bit of a surprise because the food was amazing. Drinks were good. Sadly if their servers were faster, they could’ve made more money. It took a long time to be served drinks, we ended up having a really good time watching the ATVs lineup for a mini parade. If you’re looking for a quick getaway and you have an RV, I would highly recommend the temperature was significantly cooler than the valley.

It's always fun to come up here and camp off the grid. To have the store and activities nearby is very convenient. The store is tourist pricing. They don't sell large gallons of water. They will let you pay an astronomical dump fee, fill up water for a fee, fill up propane for a fee, but apparently now showers are not available unless you rent storage or stay there. They need to update their website. The laundry is currently the only amenity that says guests only. We had to do the dirty walk of shame back to our campsite. :(

I was a little worried with all the negative reviews that were left, however our experience was great! Reservations were easy, all the employees we encountered were helpful, and the people at the campground were extremely friendly! The sites are a bit overgrown and not most aren’t level but otherwise we have zero complaints! You will have cell service but very slow to stream. The restaurant food was great and they had live music! We will be back for sure! Thanks for a fun weekend!

The food is great and filling (we came for breakfast). Also enjoyed stopping by the shop inside. Great friendly people here on staff, too!

Come for the view, leave because of the customer service! They didn't have running water for 3 days, think there would be a discount, nope. It's a privilege to stay here, even without running water. Asked for a discount and was told the owner is the only one that could give a discount. After talking with other guests, its a good thing the owner was not there, seems a bit of a hard a$$. Sites are not level, park map is horrible and confusing. They charge for everything, including your garbage. Yep, garbage is not included in your site price! We won't be back, that is for sure!

Several motorcycle riders went to this place on Sept 5, 2021. The food was lousy. The prices were high. Then agter checking my bank statement, I discovered that my card was charged twice. I called them and was told to send an email with a picture of the bank statement. I sent it to them. Never heard back from them. Called them again today and keep getting the run-around. This is completely unacceptable. Wish there was a way to leave negative stars, this place doesn't deserve any stars.

Every time I try to fully explain how horrible my experience was my review disappears. I think its so long that it just kicks me out. We were charged for food we didn't get and the food we did get was not what we ordered and was not edible. Our bill was $120 to which they added a 20% gratuity. When we asked for a refund for the $34 rack of ribs that we didnt get, my credit card was passed off to a lady who was sitting at the bar drinking. She told me she could go next door to the store and fix the charges. She returned after quite some time and went back to the bar. I asked her where my credit card was and she told me the waitress had it. The waitress then tried to give me $20 cash but never removed the $34. She brought me a tough, cold rack of ribs in a to go container. Needless to say we left the food there and went home hungry. I forgot to mention the flies. Flies so bad you probably couldn't have eaten anyway. Trust me this was by far the worst experience that I have ever had in a restaurant, in my life. Don't waste your money. If I had read all the negative reviews, I would never have gone there. I was there mid August 2021 and a friend told me yesterday that the owner was recently arrested because of an altercation with a disgruntled customer. RED FLAG !!!!!

While out on a day trip, my wife, father-in-law and myself, stopped by for a late lunch. Big mistake!!!!!! 2 pulled pork meals (dry and tuff) and a patty melt, made wrong twice we gave up the third time. Food is expensive for what you get and be cautious, they added a 15% gratuity to our bill, or just singled us out because they new we were unhappy with the quality of their food. We should have ate the sandwiches we had brought with us. The only reason I gave our experience 2 stars was because of the rustic setting. Good luck but we will NOT recommend this place to you or our friends.
