I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for my family! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful, yet still close to everything I wanted to explore. I loved the little touches that made it feel so welcoming, and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a home base for adventures, this cabin is absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back!

Had the pleasure of staying at Happy Pappy’s for a couple nights and could not have been more pleased with our stay! The cabins are very well kept, clean and furnished with everything you could need and close to the state park. The owners are well knowledgeable of the area and are easy to contact if you have any questions! My first time in Montauk and I can’t wait to go back and stay with them again!

Flyfishers At The Crossing

We have used Happy Pappy’s Montauk Cabins several times usually for large groups. The service, rooms and accommodations are outstanding. We will be back again and again. If you are a fly fisher they are located next to Montauk State Park and the Current River which is ideal for trout fishing. The management is super easy to work with. If you plan on staying in this area for a few days don’t pass up staying at their cabins/apartments.

We had our family reunion over the past week And stayed in the entire property. The units were all clean and well stocked for anything you could imagine. They are contemporary, however, keep the old school charm.The lower unit was large enough for all of us to hang together in the kitchen was amazing to cook in. Had to be the easiest kitchen for cooking and cleanup. The serving bar was also great and we had plenty of room to set out all of the goodies for us to eat. The owner is so great to work with and allowed us much privacy and always to help. We will definitely be renting these units again in the future!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Happy Pappy’s! The place is spacious, spotless, and super comfortable—it truly felt like a home away from home. Marcus and his parents were so kind and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. The kids couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was—they had the time of their lives and already want to go back! If you’re looking for the best spot to fish, relax, and make memories, this is it. You won’t find a better place in Montauk. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed for a last minute trip. Marcus was great to work with and was very accommodating. Loved that the cabin was fully furnished and even had games for family game night . The location was perfect to get to and from Montauk. We will definitely return!

This was our first trip to Montauk and Happy Pappy’s. The cabin was wonderful and had everything you needed. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. We enjoyed the friendly locals on the campground and they shared lots of hidden gems in the area! We will definitely return to Happy Pappy’s!

We have been coming to Happy Pappy's Montauk RV Park for about 7 years. The campground is very well maintained. We have never had an issue with noise late into the evening, everyone is very respectful of other campers. We love sites 5, 6 and 24!

We’ve been using Happy Pappy’s for quite a few years and love it. It now has new owners and it is every bit as good as it always has been. Park and lots mowed and kept clean and picked up. Roomy lots and quite park. No bath/shower house, but all sites have full hookup and that is what we like, we like using our own amenities with no worry about running out of water or the waste tank filling before we’re ready to leave and no having to use a dump station.
