Prettiest park we’ve been to since moving to Chatt. Will definitely come back and make it a regular outdoor spot for ourselves.

December camping at Harrison Bay State Park was quite enjoyable! Lots of available spaces, as you can imagine 😁 Water, 50 amp service, and good sites all for less than the cost of a fast food meal per day! We took advantage of the 4.3 mile walking loop near the Marina and had an especially good outing with our 2 Siberian Huskies. The bathhouse in the B loop was very nice, clean and well heated. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place to camp. Friendly staff at the office and place is pristine. Some spots in the B-loop seem cramped for large camping trailers. Last 2 weeks of October many campers decorate thier sites for Trick-o-Treaters, such a fun tradition.

Very pretty state park with many waterfront or near the water Camping sites. Deer are a common site. Great fishing. Has a large marina. Only downside is alot of the sites in the B camping loop and very undeveloped. We were able to switch sites but beware!

The sites are very close to one another so if you have loud neighbors you will hear everything they say. The park is not set up to accommodate long campers and motorbikes so if you dare you better be skilled. I saw a motorhome take out a fire ring while trying to negotiate a curve. Not enough bathouse if everyone used them instead of their camper.

This is one of our favorite state park campgrounds we’ve been to in Tennessee so far! It had a lot of features that surprised me like ADA campsites and how many sites could actually see water if not waterfront. I can see why loop A is deemed the most popular of the four loops because the sites are paved and fairly level, and the bathhouse has individual toilets and shower combos. Loop B has mostly gravel sites and some paved sites. Loop C has all gravel sites. Loop D is primitive for tent campers. All loops have a bathhouse that’s relatively central to majority of the sites. I thought the sites loops B and C were a bit on top of each other, so I’m glad we were in loop A. All sites had a picnic table and fire pit ring. Even though no swimming area is designated on the park map, lots of people could find easy places to just wait into the water, like at the end of the road where there are picnic areas. You can bring your kayaks / canoes or they may have some available for rent. There were only two dump stations that I saw: one at the entrance to the campground and one in Loop A by the bathhouse.

A beautiful bay! I love being anywhere there is water. There are several boat ramps to take your boat, there is plenty of walking! There is even a dog park with a big & little side. No toys & only one bench on each side, but gated free-roam. The weather was phenomenal and it was peaceful. August Update: Any time I go there it's, it's beautiful. I went yesterday and there was almost an actual chill in the air!
