Hat Creek Resort & RV Park

Very relaxing environment. Service was great and the yurt was very clean and comfortable. We will be back! .

Beautiful campground that is located next to Hat Creek.  Clean bathrooms with spacious showers. Friendly and helpful staff. Camp spaces are very spacious! Ice cream is amazing at the general store on site.

Nice clean park. Great for RVs and tents. Has a nice little Convenience store. Outside bathroom and showers.  Horse shoe pits and volleyball court. Right next to the river. They have cabins and motel rooms you can rent also

Stayed in cabin 16 for 4 nights in October 2025. Will not stay again. The ladies (possibly men’s too) bathroom hasn’t been cleaned the entire time we were there. Two stalls are without toilet paper and one stall has the toilet clogged. There hasn’t been paper towels to dry your hands with for two days. There is not hot water to wash your hands with only cold. The blinds in our cabin are broken. They won’t go up or down and one won’t even open. The fire extinguisher was expired. There are at least 10 piles of dog poop behind our cabin (we did not have a dog). The location is great, but we will not stay here again.

Great location, very nice RV park.
We enjoyed our outings to Lassen Park and Burney Falls.
The lady at the registration desk was very nice.
We had a great time with friends.
The bathroom was clean, but the shower area could use remodeling.

Overall, everything was great, except...
There were yellow jackets everywhere, and we couldn't even enjoy happy hour or dinner.
It was ridiculous!
They had traps out, but we could not sit still to eat outside.
Maybe it is not always that way, but we all decided not to go back there again because of it.

This was the filthiest place I ever stayed. Our cabin said it slept 6 people. The two bedrooms were ok. The fold out bed was at least fifty years old. I couldn’t sleep on it because the springs were poking my whole body. The fold out bed was filthy when we opened it . Absolutely filthy. We had to rent a motel room because the place was so smalll. The bathroom was a joke as was the kitchen. Cabin eight says sleeps six and it’s only big enough for two people. I will never rent from this place again and I suggest you don’t even stay here. The motel was fairly nice. No problems with it.

We made a very spontaneous trip off I-5 to my brothers wedding.  We thoroughly enjoyed touring the local sites but were left without lodging on a Saturday night.  Right as the girls were locking the doors, we pulled in and rented a property.  It was CLEAN and a very comfortable stay.  The ladies were super sweet & a bit concerned about us since we weren't packed to "camp" for the night.   We made it work & had a GREAT time!!  We laughed a lot and will definitely be back for a longer --prepared-- stay.  Thanks for the memories!  Go Ducks!

We had stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin which was very clean and very cozy feeling. The hat creek was directly in  front of our cabin so it made easy access to fishing. They're was also a basketball courts, as well as a volleyball and or tennis court, they also had horseshoe pits right behind our cabin if you liked to play a game as well. And of course they also had corn hole. Lol. All in all it was a wonderful time up there for Easter break and the kids had a blast. Can't wait to plan out our next vacation there soon in the future.

We love every stay we have ever had at Hat Creek Resort. What I love most about the resort is the service. Trash is removed regularly. And every single time I have conversed with them, they are professional, yet personable. They always offer suggestions to make our stay more comfortable. Bells and whistles are nice, which they have, but their service brings you back!

Hat Creek Resort & RV Park  is becoming one of our favorite places to camp. We found this gem and went camping at the beginning of September for 3 nights.
We loved everything about it. Beautiful surroundings, clean restrooms, larger campsites with F/hookups. We love it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay in the next few weeks.
Ohh…and the little country store has some very tasty homemade ice cream. So delish!

A pleasant stop on Highway 89. The store is ideal to fill your basic needs. Will definitely return to spend the night at one of their cottages.

Great location near Lassen National Park, and sits directly on Hat Creek. Fabulous fishing, decent sized Rainbow trout! The cabins could stand some updating! Make sure to bring a jacket. Location is approximately 4548 feet in elevation. Quite peaceful!
