It poured nonstop in Destin all day, and just when I thought the day was a wash, the sun suddenly broke through around 5 PM bright and golden. I headed to this beach, where red flags warned “dangerous,” but destiny in destin had other plans… blessing me with the most beautiful sunset.

4 dollars for entry, more than one person is 6 per vehicle for a carload. Beautiful beach, plenty of picnic pavilions equipped with shower rinse after your beaching is done. You can fish from this beach, they ask you stay at least 50 ft from other beachers if fishing. A-D pavilions to the left and E&F pavilions to the right. Beaches were free of any trash and is patrolled regularly by rangers on carts. Had a wonderful time, we spent 8 hrs there today and it was gorgeous scenery. No dogs, alcohol or glass allowed on the beaches. Have a wonderful time, we did!!

Parking is $6, but it’s definitely worth it. The ranger at the fee station was super kind and helpful. There can be a long line if you arrive in the afternoon. The $6 parking also allows in-and-out privileges. Restrooms are nice, and there’s plenty of parking space. The best part is the beach — absolutely beautiful and clean! Truly the best emerald beach.

We loved our experience at this beach! We paid a $6 dollar parking fee. Accessible restrooms, showers along boardwalk to rid yourself, and belongings of sand. It wasn't a crowded beach. The drive to the beach across the bridge through the shopping and hotel district was crowded. Make sure to plan your route to any beach. The beach was spacious, covered in white sand and shallow out into the ocean many feet. My family loved their experience.

Beautiful beach. There are showers to rinse off all the sand. There are restrooms nearby as well. Pretty crystal clear water enough to say that we believe we saw 2 sting rays at different times. We saw a couple jellyfish as well, but I did notice more and more showed up as the day went on. It was also nice to see little fish swimming around. Definitely come early or you will be waiting in a long line to come in. They limit how many people can come in as well. We went on Memorial weekend, got there around 9 am, and found a spot right in front of the beach with no waiting line to enter. The Rangers are nice people as well and informative.

The lady at the gate was so kind. Thank you for your kindness and care for service members. My family and I loved our time here! Red flag day was a bummer but the beach was still clean and beautiful.

A great beach! Multiple pavilions and restrooms available at each. The restrooms were very clean and the facilities in general are well kept. Paid entry but worth it.

The $6.00 price tag is well worth being able to enter and exit all day. I was a little disappointed that they weren't open at sunrise but came back after lunch and will be back again for the sunset. It's surprisingly shallow down around pavilion C but once you get past the first few sandbars it definitely gets deeper. The white sand is pristine and beautiful and the water crystal clear. A perfect representation of the Emerald Coast. The bathrooms are fully functioning and there are plenty of outdoor rinse spots to peruse.

Beautiful beach. I feel so fortunate to live in paradise. It never gets old. The lovely folks at the entrance gate are always incredibly kind and welcoming. There are many parking options, pavilions with tables, and bathrooms. The beach is always immaculate. Destin takes pride in its beautiful beaches and it shows ☀️🏝️🤩

Disclaimer: I grew up near a Texas beach on the Gulf Coast and still live close to it. Leave Fido home. No dogs allowed - what a stroke of genius. The beach felt wonderfully serene and undisturbed. The beach itself was pristine, with soft, powdery sand that felt amazing underfoot. The covered picnic area was a perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the surroundings. And the restrooms? Immaculate. I was also impressed by the thoughtful touches, like the station where you could refill your water bottles. It was clear they’d put a lot of care into making sure visitors had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. They really do it right.
