Very mixed emotions. They have a long list of rules, they follow through on none. I anticipated the noise. I didn't anticipate most didn't leave the dunes until after 9 pm so loud ORV is all day every day. It does tend to wear on you but we can totally overlook that part as it was expected. Beware of the seasonal members. They are very much entitled. Their sites remind me of a trailer park. Blackened, Dirty RVs, pieces and parts of jeeps and trucks and who knows what. 4-5 vehicles per site. Wood is $7 / bundle of 5 or 6 pieces. Plan on bringing your own. I do recommened that while we attempt to protect our forrests and we encourage visitors to not bring wood from home to tranfer bugs we also not rake them over the coals with the cost to purchase. I wouldn't completely not recommend them, I would just rather have been better prepared for my stay by knowing these things.

I don’t know what’s going on with this campground, but I was overcharged for two nights. They charged me $206 for two nights for a tent site With two adults and one child.I’ve been calling leaving messages and cannot get anybody to call me back should’ve been $116 but like I said I was charged $206 Seems a little expensive for the small site we had. I could barely fit a tent on it and park on it. The bathrooms were terrible very dirty toilets were plugged and overflowing no toilet paper. This was our first Stay at this Campground. I recommend you go down the road to the double J. I will be disputing this with my bank as soon as possible.

We happened to be passing through and stopped here on a whim! Gratefully they were able to accommodate. We will absolutely be back for longer!! Cute and fun little town!

Visiting for the first time Sand dunes in Silverlake we had an amazing time. Campground was great nice big spaces. People were very nice. Their food is very good. Their pizza in the restaurant. We stayed three nights bathrooms were very clean. Campground was very clean. People were very nice exceptional for one worker from Hideaway. Campground did not look friendly after my second day that I was there I tried to go to the restaurant and she told me I could not enter the restaurant in the outside patio with my service dog. I told her he had documentation and she demanded the documentation after that she told me well you’re gonna have to walk to the back if you wanna go in with your dog that kind of ruined my emotions for the day discriminating my friend other than that the state was good.

7 people total were staying while we were there 3 nights in mid-June. We were a party of 4 of theb7! Bathrooms were very bad. 90% of the campground is permanent folks (not while we were there). Very junky. Upon check-in they were to honor our Good Sam, never did. Office hours posted not kept.
