I'd like to say first of all that the owners are very pleasant, kind, and helpful folks and we enjoyed chatting with them. They bought the campground a few years back and they are are working hard to expand and upgrade this older campground and are doing a great job of it. The property itself is a beautiful, quiet and restful place. The location was excellent. There is a lot to do within a short distance from the campground. The full hook-up campsite was more than adequate for our needs. We used the laundry room facilities which was clean and well maintained. I wanted to give a five star rating for everything... I would give a four and one half if I could. But couldn't rightly give 5 stars as I found that the bathrooms are still in need of some work. I know the owners are working to make improvements and they will get there. I also felt the check-in process was a little cumbersome using a number of different websites and apps to register and check-in. But when I called, the owner was very helpful in getting me through the process. Some reviews say there are a lot of rules, but I appreciate those being in place as it makes a better atmosphere for everybody. I found the rules to be reasonable. If we're ever back in the area we will be sure to stay again.

What an excellent campground. Great service to us, even showed us our spot and even took us there. Great information for the surround activities and great restaurants to visit. Also great service in the morning for protectung us if our water lines for the freezing temperatures. I highly recommend this campground to others that is look for a place in the summer, fall, winter and spring, all year round.😊😊

New owners are upgrading and expanding this beautiful hidden gem. Some of the spots have a slope, but fairly level by the power poles. Many pull thru sites over 80 feet long . We originally booked for 3 days, it was so nice we stayed for 4 more days.

This campground was so nice and peaceful. The colors of fall were really beautiful there! We camp with our 2 kids and 2 dogs and we all enjoyed our time there. There was a lot of space for dog walking, and the kids loved the barrel ride and wagon ride looking for Sasquatch! The owners, Jack and Debbie, were such genuine, kind people. From interacting with them, it was clear that they truly loved owning the campground and were having fun with it. Debbie was so kind to my kids who can be a lot at times. She came around several times while we were there to check on us and see if we needed anything. My kids said this was their favorite campground! It's a great place to just enjoy the beauty of nature and relax! We would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice campground to stay at!

Jack and Debbie are THE BEST hosts and brighten your day. The campgrounds are immaculate and well maintained. Close to the bike trails and attractions. An affordable stay and we even extended it an extra day. You just dont experience too many campgrounds like this anymore. Bonus, a lot of property to walk our dog and just enjoy nature. Truly peaceful.

Wonderful rv park. Close to all greenways and hiking in Allegheny state park. There is even an old growth forest 15 minutes away. I would stay here again and again! Owners are wonderful!!

This was our first stay at High Pines RV Park but certainly will not be our last! We were greeted by one of the owners, Debbie, when we arrived with a gift! - first time we have ever experienced that at a campground. The RV Park is very large and serene with a variety of sites - from full hookup to more private depending on what you are looking for. The owners Jack and Debbie are very accommodating and make sure your stay is enjoyable. They are continually working to make improvements and the love they show and share for this campground is evident! We ran out of propane in one of our tanks and Jeff was promptly there to refill it for us. I enjoyed walking my two rescue dogs all over the campgrounds which is adjacent to woods - very beautiful! Their website is very thorough and helpful if you are not from the area. We highly recommend High Pines and look forward to going back again soon. Diane and Doug Kirchner

100 % RV friendly, meaning? My first visit and before I even got there all my questions was answered by a app “ Hi Pines” very informative to include a map within the camp, just put your lot number in and the map will show you exactly where to go, the spaces are spread apart generously. Tall pine trees through out . It’s off and away from traffic noise. Debbie the owner glows with positive energy and you can tell she really cares about everyone being content . I took my trike and toy hauler to tour the area for a quick weekend getaway. It was enough for me to guarantee I will be back

This is probably the nicest campground I've ever been too. The owners are great and are eager to accommodate all your needs! It's close to stores and gas stations. There is plenty of room to walk your dog and have great hiking and biking trails. The cabins are spacious and clean. The shower house was clean, and the showers were hot! We will definitely go back!

We camped at High Pines for a weekend of leaf peeping. We had a great time. The owners are very friendly and attentive. The grounds were clean and taken care of. We would definitely go back there again.

We are first time campers. It is clean and is in a beautiful setting in the Allegheny National Forest. The owners are very nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Debbie and Jack are extremely nice people. we have been there twice this year. They are in the process of upgrading many of the sites, this will make it more convenient for the many campers that I'm sure they will be drawing in. Everything is clean, the showers and bathroom is very neat and clean (some of the nicest I've seen at campsites). And, they have a nice game room for all the kiddos, as well as adults. We plan to go back.
