Was only supposed to be an overnight, however the campground was so nice and the owners were so great, we stayed 3. Great unwinding place with a couple of sites nearby to visit. Would camp here again for sure.

High Pines is the BEST RV park that my husband & I have ever visited!!! The owners were so helpful & so friendly!! The grounds were immaculate. The sites were nice & level. The showers were really nice & clean with adequate space. They have a good size laundry room as well. Out back just behind the park is an enormous field to walk your dog in & it is beautiful! We had a WONDERFUL stay & we highly recommend High Pines RV Park!!!

High Pines is a very well kept RV Park. Owners Tom & Ellen do a great job at making feel at home.

Campsite was very nice. The shower/rest rooms were good with very clean showers. The owner, Tom was quite friendly. My only complaint was the price. Four guys on motorcycles with four small mountain tents on one site cost $80.00. We have done a lot of motorcycle camping together and the most we ever paid before was $35.00.

I want to start this by saying I am very critical of camping experiences because I was piratically raised at a wonderful campground, so please bare with me. This is the first campground I have been to that had no swimming pool. Not a big fan of sites being so close to each other. RV's that were there were like living in a row home. HOWEVER, our site was at the far end of the property and it was wonderful. The hospitality of the people there, both owners, staff, and others visitors was pure kindness. I did not get a chance to experience the game room since I was mainly there for seeing things outside of the campground. This campground also allows dogs, which is great to see.

Nice place to stay. The mini putt putt was in shambles though. But other than that no complaints. The cabin was cool and cute.

This is a top notch rv park. All sites are grass covered! Well run and super nice. Nicest campground we have been to in this area. Mini golf, game room, clean bathrooms, office. Mini market, dollar store and bar 2 minute drive.

Had a relaxing time. Will go back. Spots were very large and clean. Campground was quiet. We were there four weekdays, for two weeks. Owner was great to deal with. Not much to do if you have kids. Dogs were welcomed.

We stayed for two nights at a pull through with 30 amps and water at the site. Very friendly. My kids had a great time at the playground, sandbox, and the mini golf which is old but free. Clean power at 118V (correctly wired) at the campsite and nice shady spot too. Owners live on site so they can always help. We had a very nice neighbor in a permanent trailer, chatted all afternoon. Game room in the basement has pool, fooseball, air hockey, and table tennis. Showers and bathroom at the main house spacious and clean, an extra bathroom house at the back of the park a bit more rustic but work fine. Owners can do a hayride too. Near great ice cream in Kane and of course the skywalk and new Kinzua visitor center is awesome. Nice and quiet. Coin operated washers and gas driers in the main building. Nice to see the owners reinvesting in the campground in various spots. Dump station is super easy to get to and in the shade too.

The park is amazing. The couple running the place are so sweet, and were very kind to us. It is a great place to stay whether you're just stopping for the night on a long RV trip or staying for a couple days in Pennsylvania.

High Pines is friendly camp ground with lots to do at the camp ground. There is Rim Rock, Jake's Rocks, Kinzu Beach to visit. Also, Barrel House Inn and Tack's for good food.

What can I say about High Pines? Plenty! Right in the heart of Alleghany National Fores, this RV Park/Campground is the place to stay. Tom and Ellen operate and own this gem. As it was known many years ago known as Foote Rest in the past, High Pines are really modernizing everything. City water and sewage makes for crystal clear water running into your water lines unlike the rust smelled water that used to be the case. The sites are level, trees, shade, sun, large sites, full hook ups, partial hook ups, and tenting sites are all plentiful. The sites and grassy areas are maintained, mowed, trash free, clean firepits, friendly atmosphere, quiet hours are observed, and schedules events are welcoming all campers to enjoy the company of all to get to meet new friends. My husband and I cannot say enough good about it. So many relaxing things to do at the campground and nearby. Kinzua, hiking trails nearby, and all the exciting activities in the Allegheny's activity you'd want within a very shory drive, to do it all. We are avid campers and this is by far our favorite campground. If you are looking for a long or short weekend to relax, roomy, level campsites, activities to take part in or watch for entertainment, this place is for you. Try it out. It speaks for itself. I have recommended it yo other campers and they loved it. Lots for kids to do. The famous fire truck rides all through the park, the hayrides, the train pull wiggling through each road in the campground, fun, safe, friendly, a place to be comfortable, and close proximity to loads of things to do. You will see Tom and Ellen out and about throughout the campground. They love to talk and visit with the campers making sure all their needs are met. Hope to see new faces soon. You won't be disappointed. It's a perfect get-a-way and lovely campground. Margie and Nick Fritz....

Tom and Ellen are great people. The campground was soon clean I couldn't find any twigs on the ground to start a camp fire. Not complaining just saying. It was one of the cleanest campgrounds weve stayed at. . If we ever come up this way again we will defiantly be camping here. Next time I'll bring my own twigs. š

What a nice surprise this campground was! Clean, easy to navigate and convenient to all we wanted to see in the area. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners and it's clear they understand the lifestyle of RVers. We rarely participate in campground activities, but we decided to give the "wine tasting" a try. What a lovely evening! Ellen, the owner, promoted a local winery - great to see businesses helping each other out, and we got to meet a few seasonal campers...all very friendly and welcoming. We are already talking about coming back next year since we know we'll have a great place to stay! Thanks Ellen & Tom, wishing you continued success! Kelly & Phil, Lancaster, PA
