Just traveling through and we were ready to be done for the night and came across this campground. Office was closed, but easy instructions to be able to pick and pay for a spot! Settled in to our full hookup spot and was able to get a great night sleep! Quiet campground and we did not hear the interstate noise as I saw in other reviews! Our spot was very clean and maintained. We did not use any of the amenities but we would definitely stay here again! So glad we found this place!!

The sites listed for viewing is the over night spaces in the very back. They look neat and clean. However the other sites are not kept up. The tables at some of the sites need to be removed as they are broken and a hazard. The drive is gravel and the space to park your RV is on grass that is infested with stickers. Very bad everywhere and not kept up with high grass so hooking up was not fun. We were planning to be here long term for about six months for work but decided to find somewhere better. In our two weeks time we spent here they did come mow but only the sites that were empty which included the one next to ours and flung stickers on our camper and our vehicle and onto the gravel drive. Taking the dog out was difficult since he constantly got stickers in his fur and paws. One of the fuses blown in family’s electrical but they did get that fixed quickly once made aware. The laundry room was roomy and three of the four washers worked however there was a musty smell to the clothes from one of them but they worked great over all as well as the dryers and for a fair price. The Mexican restaurant next door was great food! Highly recommend you check them out! The sites are spacious and it is not cramped. There is a lot of noise from the interstate mainly from Jake breaks. It would be a great place if they took care of their property maintenance and the stickers. Also, you do not get reimbursed for any days that you do not use no matter how long. This is a Good Sam location. The staff was very nice and friendly. Helpful when needed or asked and always answering the phone and in the office during office hours. Did not get to try out their pizza so can’t review that. The view isn’t bad!

My husband and I spent a couple of nights here. Site was level and grass was fine. We didn't get any stickers that some mention. The new owners have been there since 2022 and are trying to bring the place up to the plains gem it can be. They have sprayed for the stickers and are working on replacing the picnic tables. The owners were from our home state of Tennessee and we enjoyed visiting with them. The homemade pizza is good. The Mexican restaurant next door is not only convenient but really good also. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing what they have done next!

What a great find! Lots of room, spacious bathrooms, hot showers. They do offer pizza and grub at 11am. We were late arrivals (which they do take after hours drop ins!) so we were too late for pizza. There is a small fenced area so your dog can potty off leash. It was quiet and welcoming! There is electric and water hookups for a fair price! Located right off I70! Horses in the neighboring pastures, fun to watch! Will definitely stay again in future travels!

Diamond in the rough- We really like this place but some might wrinkle their nose. First impression was wow nice place but needs a little TLC. A can or two of paint would go along way. Bathrooms were clean and had a hand painted sunflower theme. Showers were hot but could be improved with a small bench in each shower. They had two so I just redecorated and moved one over. A bit curious for me was two shower heads in one shower stall. Maybe good for families. The lots were level. Place was clean and plenty of room between sites. Lovely trees separate the different sections of the park. The sites are spacious and accommodate large campers and price was fair. We did not get a chance to try their pizza but there was a good Mexican restaurant in walking distance. Overall it was very quiet with a little bit of occasional road noise. We would stay again when coming through.

Arrived about 3:10 p.m. on 5/7/25. No one at office or pizza cafe. Found "after-hours" envelope and spot, so no issue. Was hoping to patronize the cafe, so disappointed it was closed the one night we were here. Some issues: a truck with new tires in back bed parked into the park roadway (could not find the driver), making it very difficult and extremely tight for the swing needed to get our coach and tow vehicle into site 112. Lots of cigarette butts on the site and looks like someone pulled apart and cut a whole pineapple in our grass with remnants strewn everywhere. Picnic table is so broken and deteriorated that it is a safety hazard and should be removed. Better to be without one, no? Other than these minor things, this park looks to be a good stop along the road, and we read about all the great improvements coming! How soon? 👍👏😁

We were on our way back to Buffalo, NY from San Diego with our fifth wheel. We needed a place to stop for one night about 4 hours east of Denver. This campground fit our needs perfectly. The location is right off Interstate 70 and the sites have full hookups. The sewer hookup makes it easy to empty your holding tanks and flush your black tank before hitting the road again. The back row has a nice view of the surrounding fields with cattle and horses and the grass sites give a nice relaxed rural vibe. I went for a run out on the dirt farm road outside the entrance and saw a small herd of cows by the fence. The girl on the office was really nice and I stopped on the way out to wish her the best.

I am giving this a 5 star because it was a nice surprise! First off, they are very nice people in the front office. They make checkin easy after a long tiring drive. This was an overnight stop but ended up being two nights due to weather. Easy peasy. I loved the way they spaced us out so it felt like we had plenty of room. Sites are spacious. Dog area is amazing. Views of the fields and horses was really nice. Close to gas and Walmart. Site was pretty level. They have a restaurant so you can get a bite to eat. We didn’t use bathrooms or showers. Little road noise but it really wasn’t a bother. We were able to have windows open at night and not be bothered by it. We stayed in a 35ft fifth wheel. I will definitely stay here again when coming through.

At first glance this is an older campground that has seen its years, but it’s actually quite nice! The sites are a good size, very level and beautiful views of the fields to the west. The washrooms are very spacious, code locked for security reasons and very clean. A great perk is the restaurant just outside with delicious Mexican cuisine. Walking distance to a margarita is very civilized! All in all, I would absolutely recommend this campground.

Stopped for propane. Price was @7 bucks a gallon. Price gouged! Service was very unfriendly. Will not stop again.

We stayed there awhile back. Not what I expected. The sites were loaded with goatheads and stickers, wasn't aloud to use the restroom or showers. The office could use a good cleaning. My son is disabled and has a service dog and was not permitted to bring it in the office. Was told that it was not considered a service dog. Also she were extremely rude. Don't think that we will be staying there anytime soon. They don't even deserve one star.

Nice little Campground easy to get to off the highway. The owners are nice and friendly and efficient and the site was one of the most level we've run into anywhere. Only 4 stars cause you gotta watch out for the sand spurs and the dogs feet. Otherwise no problem!

Very large well maintained sites. No restaurant as advertised. Laundry had 1 working washing machine but soap, bleach and dryer sheets were provided. Bathrooms were NOT available for overnight campers so I can’t review them. Extremely rude woman runs the office. Price was good but wouldn’t consider it Good Sam quality. On a good note, the office had over 200 dvd’s to borrow overnight for free.

I am not sure what people’s expectations are, but I found this park to be a lovely spot. We stayed just one night while traveling to our final destination. I called the same day to make a reservation and had a friendly and pleasant experience. They participate in many discount programs that they ask from you. I did not have to inquire at all. The price is outstanding for what you get. Upon arrival, check-in was concise and quick. Our site was wide, relatively clean, full hook ups, cable and had a picnic table. There were those awful little ‘stickers’ every where, but we had no pets/children to have much concern. Not even sure what can be done about them and I prefer/appreciate that the park does not go to an extreme(potentially negative environmental impact) to rid of them. I would come and stay again anytime. We felt well taken care of.
