We bought a Park Model trailer in late September 2024. After one week, we left for the season. Two months later, the resort changed hands and made many changes to rules and regulations. Concerned, we prepared to sell before returning in June 2025. Our three month vacation this year was great! The Resort endeared itself to us in so many ways that we decided to not only stay, but to purchase another trailer more appropriate for our family. Office staff treated us fair and professional in every way. Special call out to Sabrina Lopshire, who is amazing. She is involved in every aspect of this well run Resort and seems to be on the go 24/7. I don’t know how she does it, but here’s one big Atta Girl.

Unprofessionally operated . Management is an absolute joke. Owned an RV there for 5 years. It seemed that management couldn’t be worse, then it was purchased by new owners. New owner kept the incompetent manager and implemented oppressive rules which are applied inconsistently based on relationship to management. Beware. There is a low occupancy rate and many units for sale for a reason. If you sell your unit, you will be required to use the incompetent manager as an agent and pay 10% of the sale price to the owner. In our case, the manager did not do effective advertising, damaged our unit while showing it, did not keep informed of sales traffic despite repeated requests., did not update listing, made errors on listing and did not correct for months. In the end, our advertising and negotiating sold the unit but we were required to pay 10% commission. Absolute nonsense from beginning to end with the “manager”.

Don't let their recent advertisement of new ownership fool you! Weve been there under both new and old ownership, unfortunately they kept the same management who really runs the show. They are NOT family friendly, especially for little ones. There is a group there that are all over the age of 65 and they are like high school bullies. If you're not in their group, they will make your lives hell. Two or three of them work at the place as well so they think they have power. Unfortunately management is apart of their little group as well. They are striving to make that park a retirement community. Empty promises, will increase lot rent and say changes are coming but nothing happens and you're paying for it anyway. Your camper can catch fire while claiming residency but when insurance calls, they will deny so you don't get a payout. If youre on a wooded site, you have risk of rats, yes I said rats, not mice. They are much smarter and will tear up your whole camper and CAR! You ask them to take care of it and they just put traps down like you haven't already tried that. Does nothing. You let them know it's still an issue, they wont do anything else, wont even reply to a text or answer a call. You try seeing them in person and they are too busy, or they say they'll call you back or follow up and nothing. Absolutely horrendous, wouldn't even recommend my worst enemies staying there.

Camped there for 4 years. We’ve had 3 different owners. Seasonal rate was $2200 a a year for our 1st year. Raised the rent $500 each year we were there. Current rate is $4150. Wanted to sell my 5th wheel due to health reasons. Campground gets 10% for the sell of RV even if you sell it. Told I couldn’t sell because it was over 10 years old, previous owner had 15 year rule. Had RV sold twice but fell through due to purchaser wanting to stay in park. Requested to rent lot for one month due to not being able to make it back to Michigan from Arizona in May due to chemotherapy treatments. My rent was paid until July 15th. Couldn’t make it back until July 28th due to weekly treatments. Requested to rent lot for 1 month until August 15th. Had to contact new owner in Illinois to approve request since local management said I couldn’t. I thought rent would be calculated 1/12 of seasonal rate or 1/6th if seasonal rate due to being a seasonal resident. WRONG they charged me $1050.00 for 1 month. I wouldn’t recommend this RV Resort because I feel they have no compassion for anyone with illness or fixed incomes. There are currently over 30 Park Models for sale and over 60 empty campsites. This park use to have a waiting list. With the previous owner and current owner GREED has taken over and everyone wanting to leave. I always treasure the memories we had for the four years we were there. I hate to post negative reviews which I normally have hardly ever done but I felt it was necessary to get the word out and give a potential customer a heads up.😢

We have been here for 9 yrs now. Yes the rental rates have increased a lot the last 5 yrs, we still find the staff and residents have made it worth staying. Management has always been friendly and helpful. Lots of activities through out the week and family activities and entertainment on the weekends. This is our little piece of paradise
