Could use more amenities, like public Wi-Fi and laundry. The staff I interacted with were super nice. We heard some folks complaining about the new owners; I guess time will tell. Update: Seasonal rates went up $200.00. I've been here a little while now, met more people, and I heard more complaints about the owners. Purchased my own Wi-Fi. (Not something you normally need to do at a "Resort.") Update: Seasonal rates went up an additional $250.00 (that's $450.00 increase in two seasons) and still zero improvements to the existing "resort." Update 2: Staff is still super nice. If you have an issue, they make an effort to fix it. Beach has been updated. Heard a lot of complaints about bad smells this season. Don't know about price increases yet. Update 3: Price went up $500.00 this year. I'm not sure where all the money is going, but it's not back into the "resort." I'm down to 2 stars now. Greedy owners. Update 4: Price went up yet another $500.00. That's $1,450.00 increase since we started going here. They're pricing themselves out of business. Update 5: New owners. Price went up another $500.00, and the new rule book is very HOA like; there are even fines for doing something against the rules. Many people are leaving this year.

Horrible place to stay, even if you are a seasonal camper they will want 10% of your rv selling price if you ever sell your rv. Just for it being in their park once. Avoid at all costs. We will not be returning, nor giving 10% of our rv sale price to ANY rv park

I don't know if I would truly call it a resort it's more like a campground trailer Hood Overnight camping is next to the open cesspool.. that stinks beyond any safe health. Water on site is very hard and you better have filtration because it's undrinkable. I would be surprised to see this place sold soon again

This is actually a trailer park with permanent trailers and RVs. Most of the residents are Michigan State and Michigan alumni that are retired. The spaces are a little cramped between trailers because most of the people are packed in pretty tight, but overall it's a very nice park and very well-kept.

Employee called and texted my phone harassing me drunk. Tried to tell her she had the wrong number and she was extremely rude and confrontational. After 13 text messages and 4 phone calls my wife called and spoke to Said employee and informed her again that she had the wrong number so she would stop harassing my family and I, but that did not work. Harassing messages continued after 11 pm. Update, staff contacted me via email and resolved issue. Appreciate managements professionalism on this issue

RV pull through sites are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. I loved the camp store and snack bar. There is so much to do. The only critique would be that golf cart prices are high. You need a golf cart to get around as it is a big park. Also, playground equipment is dated and uninviting throughout the park. This surprised me as the park seems well run. The small pool area was fun for the kids, but needs a little updating as well. I was surprised there is only one pool area on site with as big as the RV park is.

We love our place, community, and friendships. Truly enjoy our get away! Everyone is so helpful, nice, and such a wide variety of activities for everyone to do.
