The dramatic shoreline, characterized by massive sea stacks and quiet sandy coves, is within minutes of the resort.

One of the standout features is the onsite Bear's Den Deli and Pub, which serves as a social hub for guests to enjoy local cuisine. Four-legged travelers can burn energy in the fenced dog park, while everyone can gather around communal fire pits for evening storytelling.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Hikers can explore the scenic trails at Cape Sebastian State Scenic Corridor for panoramic views of the ocean. Fishing for salmon is a popular local pastime, while the nearby beaches are perfect for beachcombing, tidepooling, and admiring the southern Oregon sunset.

I'm a travel nurse staying at Honey Bear by the Sea RV Resort for 2 months. Honey Bear is a hidden gem that you need to see for yourself. If you're traveling along the SW Oregon coast, you should plan on staying here for a few nights. The resort is big, beautiful and very well taken care of. Tammy and her crew are the nicest people and always very helpful and attentive. There is a trail that you can take down to the beach and this beach is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, especially in this particular area (Port Orford, Orphir, Gold Beach down to Brookings). I've seen all the other RV Resorts around and Honey Bear is the best for sure!

Our stay was incredible! we camped here for a night on our Oregon Coast roadtrip and it didn’t disappoint. We had the spot T10 and it was amazing, very private from our neighbors. Beautiful meadow view and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. The showers were nice, HOT water and very clean. Would definitely stay here again :)

We have stayed at Honey Bear three times now and have always enjoyed our stays. Ownership change a few years ago and they have made some nice improvements. It's always fun to see the elk wondering through the park in the morning.

This is our home away from home. We absolutely love this place! The hosts and employees are always so friendly. We would suggest a punch card for those that frequent often for a free night stay or a discounted rate. We live about two hours away and this is the only place we camp 😊 this is our fifth trip this year so far.

We loved our time with the fine folks at Honey Bear by the Sea! Originally, we had planned to spend the week camping at Oregon’s Cave Creek Campground. But when the forecast called for temperatures in the 90s, we looked for a cooler alternative. After striking out at the State Parks, we turned to Hipcamp—and we’re so glad we did. Honey Bear, just north of Gold Beach, OR, was a perfect find. The campsites in the lower part of the park are spacious and beautiful. While there’s a nearby porta-potty, showers are just a short walk up to the RV area. The location is ideal for exploring the Oregon Coast and makes for an easy drive to Northern California and the Redwoods. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
