Been going to pines point campgrounds for close to 20 years and this year the grounds keeper was rude and thought yelling was the right way to talk to the campers, the bathroom were not cleaned daily, hopefully next year there will be someone different with a better attitude. $30. dollars a night for a rustic camp sites is starting to becoming a little expensive

Got turned around around realizing this was a fee area. Quickly in 2 minutes used the pit toilet located at the visitors area when my girlfriend and I were met by a man named ed in his 70-80s on a golf cart threatening to write us a 140$ ticket and cussing us out for not paying the 10$ fee. After we explained we saw the fee and wanted to find a new area to fish that was free he continued to threaten us and said if we didn't leave now he would give us the ticket. He called my girlfriend, dude, man, and sir. The entire interaction and was screaming, we were there a total of maybe 3 minutes.

Campground is really nice, but the camp hosts have taken over their spot and it looks like a disaster. They also were poori g oil on their fire, violating all the Campground rules. Didn't feel they were a very good representation for a National Park Campground. They would have been better suited at a State Campground. It was a packed weekend at the campground, but everyone leaves on Sunday. We had the place to ourselves for a few days.

It's a really nice spot in the woods. Clean, beautiful, and peaceful. Floating and swimming in the river is amazing I'm definitely coming back.

We’ve only stayed in the bigger group camp sites which are near a place to drop your tubes/kayaks in. The river is pure magic. The trip around to the landing is less than an hour at a leisurely pace and only a 5 minute walk back to the campsite. It’s surreal the first time going on the river. BEWARE OF GYPSY MOTH SEASON. Do your research before coming to this lovely place.

Beautiful National Forest Campground near Hesperia. The rustic campground offers a bathhouse with running water and flush toilets. Water spigots are located in the park for your convenience. The campground hosts, Ed and Denise are fantastic! They do an excellent job at keeping this park looking amazing.

My favorite campground. I really like the new hosts. I really appreciate that they enforce the 10 pm quiet time. Years past other hosts would allow loud parties well into the early morning hours.... not what I wasn't to hear enjoying the outdoors. Campground is very well taken care of, and nice sized lots.

Host this year are absolutely amazing Char and Wayne. Clean and large sites. My husband and I with our 3 boys stayed 2 weeks it was so relaxing and beautiful stayed right on the river dropped in and floated a hour float. Side note the fire flies were absolutely amazing at night check out the south side of the rover at night and there are literally thousands!
