Camped for several nights, RV and a tent. We went up without a reservation mid week, and still had limited options for sites because so many were reserved for the weekend. We ended up in a spot without trees, which was a bummer, but doable with a canopy and awning on the rv. Beautiful campground. Kids had a blast in the river, catching crawdads, frogs, snails and clams. Lots of wild life to see. There was a bear wandering the campground at night looking for food, which it found at a few different sites. He was in our site at least 2 nights, but moved along when he didn't find anything. Clean up and store your food properly! I will absolutely go back.

Beautiful campground! No cell service, which was amazing! Hosts were friendly. C49 is a great spot with a shelter over the picnic table, close to the river and bathroom. We would definitely return for another camping trip!

If I could give zero stars I would! This place has been destroyed by the Forest Service, Camp Reserve America and the local contractor. BEWARE THERE ARE NO TENT SITES NOW AND THE SAME CONTRACTOR IS DOING BIG HANK AS WELL.

Kit Price used to be a beautiful campground. Sadly they cut down a lot of the trees, leaving no privacy and very little shade between most sites in loops B and C. The river is still amazing and beautiful and great for kids. We had elk roam through both days we were there. Friendly camp host. Clean facilities.

They've cleared all the trees and not just selectively logged either. The campground is an utter joke now. Wood left everywhere to just rot besides some piles they're willing to sell off as firewood, huge tree just cut down and left laying on the ground, a lot of the picnic tables are in disrepair, weeds are growing directly in the campsites where the roots literally catch around your foot. They have ruined what used to be a very nice place in our beautiful state. Sad!
