Lovely nature around. Campground facilities are lacking. Never did find a shower out of three none really worked. Two showers were out of commission one drizzled a very small amount of hot water and one was not warm at all. Very rough showering. The pool had no bathroom so guess what you're swimming in. No store or anything at all. The drive here is scary. The sites are nuts to try to get into and uneven. I probably would not return here. I'm typically not hard to please. As long as you realize these things and they would not bother you you're all good

I do not usually review Thousand Trails parks, but Thousand Trails Idyllwild absolutely deserves one. I have loved coming here over the years because it gives me exactly what I crave: the quiet, beauty, and solitude of the forest. I was lucky enough to get a couple of snowy days during this stay, which made it feel especially magical. But what really made this visit stand out was the staff. I was staying in a site off the main road, and with the snow, I was concerned about access, especially because I was going through propane quickly and needed a delivery truck to be able to reach me. As soon as there was a break in the weather, the staff made sure a path was cleared from the paved road to my site so the propane truck could get through. They also went above and beyond in another way that meant a lot to me. I needed medication for my dogs, and without a car, getting it would have been extremely difficult because of the steep elevation change in the park. The staff kindly brought it to me, which was far beyond what I would normally expect. As a solo RVer, snow can feel beautiful and a little intimidating all at once, but the kindness and care from the staff made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely looked after. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful and helpful throughout my stay. (Not just at check in) This was an above-and-beyond experience in every way. Thousand Trails Idyllwild is a special place, and the people working there made it even more special.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in California, Pine Cove TT is the spot. We stayed here recently and loved the quiet, wooded atmosphere. The park itself is beautiful, but what really made the experience for us was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We've been in dozens of thousand trails parks from east coast to the west coast. I think I'm already quite qualified to pintpoint a nice tt park. This one is my favorite 😍 P.S. I don't know if I'm allowed to write names of especially hospitable staff members here so I won't. But they deserve a praise for their diligent work.

This is actually one of my faves. If the roads hadn’t been so washed out and sketchy it would get 5 stars. The recent storms really messed them up. The bathrooms were tired but the water and heater were hot. The area is beautiful and some sites are better than others. The vibe was quiet and serene. The laundromats had a nice folding table. I would go back.

This park is beautiful. Having said that if you have anything bigger than 25 feet you are in for a rude awakening. The road coming in is very tight and the park is just as tight. There needs to be a large amount of road and site work done to make the park more accessible. We have a 29 foot fifth wheel and did damage the truck backing in due to incline of the site. I have to say if I still owned my tent trailer that I had 25 years ago this would be my favorite park.
