Lovely nature around. Campground facilities are lacking. Never did find a shower out of three none really worked. Two showers were out of commission one drizzled a very small amount of hot water and one was not warm at all. Very rough showering. The pool had no bathroom so guess what you're swimming in. No store or anything at all. The drive here is scary. The sites are nuts to try to get into and uneven. I probably would not return here. I'm typically not hard to please. As long as you realize these things and they would not bother you you're all good

I do not usually review Thousand Trails parks, but Thousand Trails Idyllwild absolutely deserves one. I have loved coming here over the years because it gives me exactly what I crave: the quiet, beauty, and solitude of the forest. I was lucky enough to get a couple of snowy days during this stay, which made it feel especially magical. But what really made this visit stand out was the staff. I was staying in a site off the main road, and with the snow, I was concerned about access, especially because I was going through propane quickly and needed a delivery truck to be able to reach me. As soon as there was a break in the weather, the staff made sure a path was cleared from the paved road to my site so the propane truck could get through. They also went above and beyond in another way that meant a lot to me. I needed medication for my dogs, and without a car, getting it would have been extremely difficult because of the steep elevation change in the park. The staff kindly brought it to me, which was far beyond what I would normally expect. As a solo RVer, snow can feel beautiful and a little intimidating all at once, but the kindness and care from the staff made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely looked after. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful and helpful throughout my stay. (Not just at check in) This was an above-and-beyond experience in every way. Thousand Trails Idyllwild is a special place, and the people working there made it even more special.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in California, Pine Cove TT is the spot. We stayed here recently and loved the quiet, wooded atmosphere. The park itself is beautiful, but what really made the experience for us was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We've been in dozens of thousand trails parks from east coast to the west coast. I think I'm already quite qualified to pintpoint a nice tt park. This one is my favorite 😍 P.S. I don't know if I'm allowed to write names of especially hospitable staff members here so I won't. But they deserve a praise for their diligent work.

This is actually one of my faves. If the roads hadn’t been so washed out and sketchy it would get 5 stars. The recent storms really messed them up. The bathrooms were tired but the water and heater were hot. The area is beautiful and some sites are better than others. The vibe was quiet and serene. The laundromats had a nice folding table. I would go back.

This park is beautiful. Having said that if you have anything bigger than 25 feet you are in for a rude awakening. The road coming in is very tight and the park is just as tight. There needs to be a large amount of road and site work done to make the park more accessible. We have a 29 foot fifth wheel and did damage the truck backing in due to incline of the site. I have to say if I still owned my tent trailer that I had 25 years ago this would be my favorite park.

My family and I went over the weekend and stayed at this campground. The staff is super friendly and the rooms were clean. We will definitely be booking another day here soon. Thank you so much to all the staff for making us food at home we truly appreciate it. 🙏🏼

Beautiful spot up in the San Jacinto Mountains with a nice little fishing spot on the campground. Cool place and we live locally and still try and come every so often. We stayed in the cabins because we’re doing some renovations on our RV this year and they’re pretty nice. Kinda small but has everything that you could need while out camping.

We did a campground and loved it, you are surrounded by beautiful Jeffrey pines, incense cedars, manzanitas and canyon live oaks! When you step outside you smell the beautiful maple syrup/ vanilla fragrance from the Jeffrey pines. The staff is amazing and our experience was awesome. My wife and I loved it and our toddlers had lots of fun. Every camper we talked to was cool and also loved it. Bathrooms, pools, showers, trails were all super clean and everything was family friendly. Location is great and just a few minutes from the town. We will be going back soon and we are going to be getting the membership. I want to give a BIG THANKS to John, Bill and Chris! See you guys soon!

Will not bring my rig here again even though it's a pretty location. Thousand Trails is implementing a new policy of assigning sites. This would be fine if I could select, but not so much when they assign. When we arrived I asked to be at a site near my cousin. They said they were full and we could not change. THE PLACE HAD LOTS OF EMPTY SITES - wider more level, easier to back in- THEY LIED. We ended up in a busy area, not out at near the perimeter enjoying the quiet. The sites were Steep and we Damaged our rig and truck backing in at 90 degrees. I am so annoyed they did not respect my request to be with other family camping at the same time. Some terrible roads- eroded, narrow, trees close to roads with obvious damage from vehicles, and tight turns. They need a full-time bulldozer leveling sites especially after erosion of the winter and spring seasons. The staff forgot to open the lodge at hours posted when the sales person was off for two days. I had to call the ranger station and ask someone to open the lodge.

Beautiful campground in an absolutely fantastic area of southern California. It was the perfect little getaway to spend some time away from the city on a long weekend. The campground is clean, the staff is friendly, there is a pool and hiking trails. And it is only a few minutes outside the town of Idyllwild. We will be back!

Great location, spots are tight. Online it said there was a cafe and a market but that is not the case. Also no activities are available on the grounds. All else was wonderful though!

Although a beautiful environment, this park has extreme hills and extra tight spaces tucked in-between pine trees on said hills. The switch back roads leading up the mountain into the area are also extreme (elevation is 6000ft). I wouldn't advise anyone to bring their trailer up here unless your engine is in tip top shape, and you're an expert level hauler. I definitely will never be booking here again, there's much more accessible TT's elsewhere.

Lovely location and cabins. Easy no-hassle check-in & check-out. Didn’t check out any of the amenities but really enjoyed our stay. Cabins have every you’ll need; hot water, dishes/cookware, paper towels, linens, etc.

I was banned from this place after going my whole life. They have yet to explain why. My property has been stolen. My merchandise for a struggling business. Going bankrupt! I’ll make sure to never share #100daysofcamping ever again. I went with another policy holder and many potential policyholders and they may have been talked out of purchasing a time share because if the merch and random belongings are not safe then why is this place still open?

Great experience! 1st time camping with Idyllwild and had a great time!! Facility was very clean! Bathrooms & showers were clean and warm! Pool & Jacuzzi was closed since it’s already off season for it but was decent size area. Dog park was nice to have in the campsite. Staff was exceptional! Helpful and friendly and welcoming! Love that sites RV & tent sites have electricity and water hook ups! They also have full amenity cabins you can rent as well!! Will definitely come back to this location again!!
