I will start with the good. Fantastic WiFi, extremely clean bathrooms and shower rooms, excellent pool at cedar Lodge next door, short walkable distance to the YART bus stop into Yosemite, great price for a campground 8 miles from a national park entrance and easy access to a beautiful little river park across the highway. The only negative is, out of the several hundred campgrounds I have camped in over the last six years, none have even come close to how packed this place is. I was fortunate to get the best campsite in the park but across from me are 4 campers in an area no larger than some single campsites I have stayed at. The spaces don't allow for parking both your camper and your towing vehicle so you need to use the overflow parking which is outside the campground parallel to the highway. The Jupe Tents, tent cabins, and cottages are also packed just as tight as are the tent sites. I would still recommend this campground to anyone wanting to go to Yosemite though. It's definitely the closest and most convenient campground

The staff here were SOOOOO nice. I was so flustered after traveling 4 hours to get to a trail head that was blocked from a landslide. They helped me squeeze in a booking even though they technically didnt have space, gave me great advice on the nearby trails, and when it still didn’t work out and I ended up defeated, going home, they helped me cancel and refunded the full amount. I am so grateful for their kindness and compassion. The location is great, their sites were clean, and the staff….100/10 🙌🙌

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews here. There is a couple tight spots due to this random spot in the middle, but if you follow the length restrictions and know how to park your trailer you'll be fine. I did it solo in the rain so... The staff is SO SO nice I can't say enough, they helped me when I made a mistake in finding my spot in the rain, everyone I met was very friendly. Access to the gym, hotel pools, cute river spot, and a little restaurant on site, 45 minutes from the valley is lovely. I would 100% stay here again.

I have camped here several times and love the location and proximity to the park. Service is great, camp spots are small but easy to access. Facilities are great especially with the add on of the hotel amenities next door (pool, restaurant etc). The river area is great to go to and it’s a quick drive to the park. Shower and bathrooms are clean and kept well. Good value and good team.

We stayed for two nights on 128. One of the nicer RV sites since you have no one in front of you and the others are above. The showers were very clean and water was good - the 2 showers right behind the dishwashing station. Its nice you can use the indoor pool and hot tub and having the bar and restaurant is convenient. Yes the tent sites in the front are close together but its not a state or national park. If you are tent camping id suggest the tent sites behind the 128 further up. They have a small shop to buy some goods if you need to. Prices are very good with the winter discount (till mid March?). BBQ and fire ring is also there. Great location to get into Yosemite from just a short 20 minute drive. Also a nice hike down the road is the Hites Cove Trail especially with the wildflowers blooming. What could be improved? The table was quite rundown on our site but it did its job after cleaning.

This is undoubtedly the worst tent camping site I've ever stayed at. The sites are -literally- 6 feet apart from one another. There is absolutely no privacy at all. I booked two nights and didn't bother staying for the second night, even when I knew I wasn't going to get the money back. I was next to a loud drunk group and a family that showed up late and started cooking dinner after 10pm. Quiet hours are NOT enforced by host at all. People were up and making noise well into the night, all within feet of me trying to sleep in my tent. Do not stay here!

We arrived for the night with the RV and discovered that there was also the option of using the services that the hotel offers, such as a games room with a snooker and ping-pong table and a heated indoor pool with a jacuzzi. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed for another night. High quality Wi-Fi.

It is only 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley, and located in a beautiful area. Loved the beach access to the river and the tent cabins were really cute. Rvs were loud but expected, I feel like the people were quiet and respectful though! Wish there were more options for bear boxes, but I loved the front staff. So sweet!

This RV park is extremely convenient for visiting Yosemite and the WiFi is excellent however; the spots are tighter than any RV park we’ve ever visited. We have a compact truck camper yet we still had to remove the picnic table and coordinate entrances/exits with two of our neighbors which is completely unacceptable. The bathrooms/showers were filthy and the electricity that we paid for required an extension cord to a completely different site. Beware, some sites have no sewer hook-up and there’s not a dump station.

Indian Flat Rv Park is a hidden gem of Yosemite!! Located right outside the entrance, we stayed here two nights. The cost was $60 for a full hookup (50 amp, water, and dump). They let us set up tents and had a charcoal grill. They let RV users have access to a game room and the indoor and outdoor pools. The service was incredible, and the creek right across the street is beautiful. We were so blessed to find this place!!

My stay here was great! I stayed in 301 tent cabin for 5 nights. The inside was clean upon arrival and the staff was all friendly. They had a lot of supplies in the office available for purchase if needed which was a great convenience for water and cold treats on hot days. The bathrooms were always clean and showers worked (the water pressure wasn’t the best but also not the worst). The place is somewhat dated but it’s everything you need for a stay if you don’t have camping gear. They didn’t service the rooms at all - but they did provide towels and soap and toiletries and a mini fridge and power & WiFi which all came in very handy. There was some street noise but it wasn’t super bad as I was up at 5am every day to hike. The temperature swings in the room can make sleeping and relaxing during the day a challenge but I wore extra layers to bed and tried to stay in the park for the hottest points of the day where it’s cooler and that seemed to work out. Cedar lodge has pools and hot tub available as well though I didn’t have time to use them. Overall would stay here again.

Excellent camp ground! The store near the RVs and the hotel store were very helpful, restrooms were clean and staff very helpful too. Free wifi and very quiet place. My site wasn’t level so the gentleman gave me a better one.

This is a nice little RV park and about 9 miles from Yosemite. The park personnel were friendly, easy to work with and accommodating. Sites are tight but you cannot beat the ease and location to Yosemite. Clean restrooms, convenient shower and they do have cabins, a motel next door and a restaurant. I highly recommend this facility and we paid $52 for water and electric. We were treated very well and enjoyed our stay.

Worst RV park we’ve experienced! When we checked in they said nothing about our spot. We proceeded to unhook our trailer, level it…. Once we’re completely set up another RV pulls up and asks us to move forward so they will fit! (When we set up we thought, “wow-this is small!”) Now we’re sharing it!? No problem, of course we hook up and move so our neighbor can fit then unhook and set up again. Now we have to find a place for our car - that wasn’t clear either. The office really should tell you these things WHILE checking in. Apparently this happens all the time; people are always having to shift RVs to make space. Finally, when pulling out of the park, the angle out of the driveway was so steep our small trailer scrapped on the road. The only saving grace was that they are close to Yosemite Park.

We camped here for 3 nights in March. With it being a quieter time of the season, we did not experience any issues with noisy neighbours or cars and instead found the campsite a very peaceful place to have dinner and rest after long days in Yosemite. Our stay was very comfortable, the only issue we had was that it was a bit difficult washing dishes with only cold water, but was not a train smash. Great camping spot and atmosphere!
