We loved it for quite awhile even though we had issues with the electric and sewer. The sewer was backed up to our door and the electric was spotty, even told we had to turn off our AC because another RV couldn’t run both of theirs. Getting down to the steam was very dangerous and difficult, so it’s unusable. No amenities except the ponds and the night club that is only open one night a week and it is run down with limited drinks available. (Sorry not a beer person). You get yelled at by the owner if you do the circle drive, you are not allowed to drive between the trailer house and the ponds (no signs, just him yelling at you). If the bar is busy they have no problem with people parking in the road leading to the campground area but will let you know it’s a bother to them to move their vehicle so you can get down there. I watched the owner get drunk (a lot) confront guests poking his fingers into their chest! They will both tag team and if you try to block their assault they will call the police and press assault charges against you! After all who is going to press assault charges for getting poked! ALWAYS pay with a money order, NEVER CASH, and ALWAYS get your receipt right then and save it!!! They have no issue lying about it! They act like a couple of good ol’ country boys but they have it all figured out to playing their game!

Always a great experience! So happy I took my son today as the ponds were stocked, the fish were healthy, and they were biting! We fished from about 1:30 p.m. till about 8:00 p.m. leaving for about an hour at 4:00 p.m. to run to town. In that time we estimate we caught about 8 fish...each. The bluegills and sunfish are HUGE! Their size and strength is quite impressive. What seem to be largemouth bass were caught often and in all different sizes; from about 4 to 10 inches in length. I don't know much about bass but I know these fish were healthy and strong. Pretty secluded. Many of times have gone during the day on both week and weekends and have been the only person there, (other than the owners, whom are always polite and every time I've gone there

This campsite is family owned and just wonderful and friendly. Brandon even fixed my generator plug and saved me so much money! Secluded and a nice fishing pond nearby. I think there are 8 sites. Country Music on Saturdays. If you don't like crowded campsites, this place is for you. $150 wk. Safe travels.
