Always a great experience! So happy I took my son today as the ponds were stocked, the fish were healthy, and they were biting! We fished from about 1:30 p.m. till about 8:00 p.m. leaving for about an hour at 4:00 p.m. to run to town. In that time we estimate we caught about 8 fish...each. The bluegills and sunfish are HUGE! Their size and strength is quite impressive. What seem to be largemouth bass were caught often and in all different sizes; from about 4 to 10 inches in length. I don't know much about bass but I know these fish were healthy and strong. Pretty secluded. Many of times have gone during the day on both week and weekends and have been the only person there, (other than the owners, whom are always polite and every time I've gone there

This campsite is family owned and just wonderful and friendly. Brandon even fixed my generator plug and saved me so much money! Secluded and a nice fishing pond nearby. I think there are 8 sites. Country Music on Saturdays. If you don't like crowded campsites, this place is for you. $150 wk. Safe travels.

Nice little campground. The owner was very interesting to talk with.

Would love to give five stars, this spot has 2 lakes, peaceful setting. I feel like more attention is given to the property and bar/restaurant than is given to stocking the lake for fishing. Nice place overall.

There a several year round residents that seem to kind of live on the fringes of society in make shift campers/shelters but they are friendly keep to themselves for the most part. I felt like my family was safe there while I was at work. Other camping families would come and go we would often have drinks and share stories. The sand bed creek in the back is clean slow moving water in the summer months our kids enjoyed wading there and netting fish. The ponds are stocked and generally easy to fish. There is a privately owned building near the entrance that hosts live music on Friday or Saturday mostly country or bluegrass folk . There are no other amenities the surrounding area doesn't offer much to do. If you are passing through and need a place to camp indianfootlake will suit most people just fine. I was there to work and my family explored Saint Louis and surrounding attractions. In the evenings we enjoyed fishing which was free as long as we released the fish. I would describe the camp ground as adequate. And would be willing to return. The camp ground was dog freindly

Beautiful, peaceful. Miss June and her grandson Brandon we're gracious and welcoming. I would definitely revisit. I love the old country feel from the live band that was playing the day we went. Thanks so much for the fantastic experience.
