Quiet and family focused campsite. Stayed in a lot by the creek which made for great white noise. The location is close to chain lakes and bear pond. ATV and horse friendly. No running water other than a hand pump to get non potable well water.

No firewood available anymore, 4x4 speeding through the camping area and disgusting porta potties. Horse camping useless and not kept in good shape. It’s a shame bc the sites themselves are really nice!

Frequently book this campsite and this year brought friends. Hank (site owner/manager I believe) is amazing, came around for firewood whenever we needed and keeps the outhouses in really clean shape which is always appreciated. Sites themselves are a good size, views with the creek are nice and it’s not too far out of town for a nice little weekend getaway. Absolutely love it and will be back! ☺️

I have been going to Indian grave for guite a few years, I love it there. Hank is amazing always makes sure his campers are happy and have what they need. He keeps it pretty clean there.

Paid too much for the worst trip. Generators day and night, kids running through our site, 5 to 6 dogs off leash charging at our on leash dog daily. Loud drunk partying in the cook hut. Kids older than allowed age throwing rocks at playground while our little kids tried to play... eventually had to leave playground as no parents supervising unruly big kids. Same big kids with others pumping the water pump for 30 min straight. Toddlers running around unsupervised. Awful. Used to love this campground. A refund should be given.

Great, well maintained campground. We have camped here for two years in a row now, and have not yet been disappointed. There is a great contrast between the forested upper loop and the open area of the lower loop. While there are no services, there are clean outhouses and a water pump to hand pump your own water. It is also a short distance from chain lakes if you would like to spend a day swimming or boating
