Been here about 9 years nice place friendly the only problem is I don't get a copy of the electric bill. It is only written out by the office on a guest card and as of now the big propane tank does not work and I'm 70 years old and have to have propane in order to stay warm for the most part. It's a nice place. Very quiet. Lots of nature The manager is very nice. She works really hard. Her name is Monique.

I went to camp here with my sons and vis friends. I left to go to the store and left them at the campground. They went to look at map of site and were told by the man who works and lives in site that people at the site don’t like black peope. My son’s friend is black. Then they went to walk to the park and they were called racial slurs!! I am so disgusted!!

It’s cheap for a full service camp site. $30/overnight stay. Most units in the site look semi permanent. Not much space between units and I didn’t find bathrooms or showers. Elevation is pretty high so a lot of climbing to get there from Bakersfield (approximately 4000 ft). We were happy with our stay as the place was pretty quiet for a place that was packed so full.

Definitely recommend a stay if you're passing through the area. Older, small RV park but a gorgeous spot. A bit higher than I like at 5K', it gets colder and ice/snow tends to hang around in the winter. On the flipside, during the other 3 seasons, it's absolutely gorgeous weather and an out of way, off the beaten path place to enjoy the best of the high desert. Friends use the RV park this past winter, had some electrical issues from old wiring. Prices are comparable to others in the area. Spots are a bit close but nothing atypical of other RV parks. My late husband and I used their campsites several times and always enjoyed the stay. Always enjoyed the Pow Wow, wish they still had it!

Beautiful area! Very friendly people here and trustworthy. The site manager here is an awesome person, she is very helpful and takes very good care of you. When I've taken off for a few days she has kept an eye on my rv for me. And price is decent for California

We have been enjoying Indian Hills Campground for over 20 years. We came up here when our children were young. Now we are blessed to watch them sharing those same experiences with their children. We are here at least 3-4 times in the summer. It is a great place to spend quality time with family, a place to come and relax, do a little fishing, enjoy each other’s company. We absolutely love the simplicity here. The staff is amazing and will do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. If you are looking for glitz and glitter don’t come here If you are looking for a relaxing time, without the usual overcrowded campgrounds this is the place for you. I am looking forward to many more years of making great memories with not only my children but my grandchildren as well.

This is a great place. My husband and I stayed 2 days and wish we could stayed longer. It is a very quiet place and secure. It is a good distance off 58 but is it well worth it to get higher elevation. They have no restroom / showers. We have rv so we had no problem. They do have a laundry room that is every clean. If you like to hike/bike this is the place. The manger was great.
