It was pretty sparsely populated on the west side. There are two separate roads. Staff were friendly and helpful. It rained Saturday - we went day drinking, Mackinaw Trail Winery, Flatiron Brewery, Tap 21. We have visited this area for 4 years.

Excellent campground and park! Tons of things to do, great plots, kind people and staff, clean bathrooms and showers, water at will and ice and firewood for sale. Check it out for sure!

Nice park with great staff. Lakefront views at night are amazing. Restrooms and showers are in good shape. Canoes are available for use. I visited in mid-June, and there were lots of bugs, so bring the spray.

This is a very nice lakefront campground. Clean and well maintained. Views of the lake can be completely eliminated by campers who park parallel to the roadway, rather than backing in normally. We initially has very good views of the water, however 4 lakefront campsites combined this way for a reunion type event and created a solid wall of trailers that totally blocked any view of the water. To be fair, the sites are quite wide, and perhaps this is permissible, but be advised. Site 31 was extremely unlevel grass pull through which sloped uphill. My six point auto level system could not adjust to the slope, and I had to relocate to the front of the site. Even there, it stretched the limits of my system. Those without a large number of leveling blocks could be out of luck. We camped at Indian Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground! Reasonable rates. Accommodates all size rigs. Many lakeside sites. Most sites include electric. Water and dump station onsite. Clean bathrooms and showers.

Have stayed here many times over the past years. It is a very pleasant and laid back State Park with beautiful views and sunsets over Indian Lake. Knocked off one star because the restroom facilities are dated and toilets are difficult to flush so they get clogged quite often. Trails could also use some upgrades as they are mucky and overgrown in many places.

One of the best State Parks in Michigan we have stayed in. stayed for 4 days late August.. bring your bikes… Just be prepared to have extra blocks for leveling your 5th Wheel or camper. Sites are large to small. We had a pull thru. The terrain where the sites are is on a slope for many of them… Other than that, the views are spectacular. I wish we had a boat. Many areas where you can just pull your boat up at a few spots and leave it. Boat launch, small beach, lake is 15’ deep at the deepest. I wish I could stay…. Clean bathrooms and showers, town close for grocery’s, manistique has a cute downtown closes down on Sundays. We ate at Tiffany’s Cafe. Cute place great food and service… little hidden gem

This is a truly beautiful and peaceful park. We visited the day use area. There's a large pavilion with bathrooms, a bar, charcoal grills, picnic tables and a sunroom with gliders looking out over the water. There's a huge stone fireplace in the middle of the pavilion. The sandy beach area is small and surrounded by cedars and birch. There's a swing set, volleyball net and horse shoe pits. I was impressed by private beach areas with picnic tables and benches.

Absolutely loved our stay June 21-27! I grew up camping here and never thought I’d be bringing my family here one day. We definitely plan on staying next year and extending our stay! I almost don’t want to recommend because it’s so nice and very well kept! Lots of areas for picnics, beach house and boat ramp!

Absolutely loved this park. The water was so clear. The campground was quiet and peaceful while we were there. The firewood cost was very reasonable and cheaper than a nearby gas station where we bought our first bundle on the way in. It's also not too far to drive to many site seeing spots. Restrooms and showers were clean. They dud have a couple drippy showers that wouldn't turn off, but we would definitely come here again.
