So many beautiful flowers! The Chokecherry ice cream in the café is the best ice cream I've ever had. The chapel at the far end of the garden holds a lot of intrigue (and a lot of echoes!), and there are several interesting stops when you drive the ND side of the garden. This experience was so good, on so many levels. I can't wait to return! Because you leave the United States to enter the Garden, bring your Real ID driver's license, or driver's license and birth certificate (if you don't have Real ID), or your passport for re-entry into the US.

Beautiful place, but for a one-time visit. This place is like a provincial park. Wild nature in many places. Plenty of picnic spots. On the border of the USA and Canada there are amazing and long flower beds. The park has a beautiful gallery of succulents.

We drove here on a Saturday from Minot, ND. If you drive here make sure you have a valid Passport or some kind of form of identification to enter back into the states. Aside from that, this park is beautiful. It's large and the gardens are truly breathtaking. We went during the end of August once the leaves started changing colors and it's truly a beautiful place to go have a picnic or just enjoy the scenery. I'm from Texas and down there we have the Botanical gardens, but this place was even better in my opinion. Quiet, and so peaceful. I'm definitely coming back again. Also I'd like to add that there's so many wild turkeys roaming about, be careful not to let them in the gardens.

Love it!!! It looked and smelled amazing. The storybook features were nice to see. Great place for a picnic or just sit and relax. The Wardens and 9/11 Memorials were nice to see and pay respect to. They had a great play area for kids to play, and the restrooms we covenant and clean. We would love to come back and spend more time exploring this beautiful area.

Very peaceful and serene stay at the campground. Enjoyed exploring the Peace Gardens! Plenty of restrooms and picnic/play areas around the gardens. The cafe is expensive but good. No ice on the premises to purchase so be sure to take it with you from Dundsieth before going to the garden; its about a 15 min drive.

This is one of my favorite places I can visit in ND. We have camped at their campground multiple times over the last few years. The campground is very quiet, sites are spread out, the camping area is in a nice aspen/oak treed area, and there are bathrooms with sinks and showers. The formal gardens are beautiful at many times of the year. We even went the last weekend in September this year- there were still some beautiful flowers blooming and the fall foliage was perfect. They have an awesome cacti collection and a cafeteria with good food options. One of my favorite things to do while visiting is drive the auto-loop at dusk (great birding opportunities!). It is so beautiful! We have also done almost all of the hiking trails there. Some trails are more maintained than others. Depending on the time of year, there may be ticks, mosquitoes, and poison ivy so just come prepared if camping/hiking. I would highly recommend people visit the gardens, spend a weekend camping, and do some hiking here!

Beautiful park. You have to try the Peace Burger from the cafe. It was really good for only $10!
