Had the best camp sight in the Campground. Great fishing nice people. I will be back cant wait.

We stayed in a cabin. Our friends were in the camp ground. It's a beautiful area and the restaurant is amazing!

If you want beautiful views and less crowds then this is the place. We had site 27. Behind us was the creek and few steps away from the restroom. Just remember that there are no showers at the campground. If you want to shower you have to walk or drive to the resort. There were only 2 showers there so you will probably have to wait in line during the busy times. Also it costs $3 per token or $5 for two. Each token lasts 3 mins. We were able to take a shower for 2 tokens. The tricky part is you must hold the button then drop the token into the machine. Keep holding until the water starts. We saw many deers on the campgrounds. Bathrooms were clean and regular running toilet. You can walk around the lake from the campground. There are 2 dump stations when you drive out.

Went from 5/6/26 - 5/8/26 and stayed at site #6. Beautiful view of the mountains and terrain.

There is no shade but that's expected, so a canopy helped keep us cool. Despite it being in the 60's the sun hitting you directly gets you sweating haha.
I was also expecting it to be very windy but thankfully the wind was tolerable and didn't obliterate my canopy and tent.

The camp host that I interacted with was very friendly, I think his name was Mike. Him and the other hosts do a great job keeping the campground looking great.

Overall, we definitely would love to go back in the future! Highly recommend it just be prepared for no shade and wind.

There's a great variety of campsites depending on what you're looking for. You can't see the lake from the campsite, but you can easily see the mountains! The sites are gravelly so make sure you have some sort of pad or barrier between you and the ground. Some sites have good privacy and some do not. I would definitely stay here again!

This probably the best maintained campground Ive stayed at. Best views and best fishing so far IMO.

This campground can be a five star if you are lucky enough to have the right campsite which was our case for the first 2 nights. We were close to the creek and somewhat to the side which was lovely. As it’s extremely difficult to book campsites even in advance during the busy period (we went in June) we had to book a different site for the remaining two nights. We actually decided to leave instead of moving to the new space as the other space was absolutely “unlivable”. Exposed, on the road, the worst spaces offered (there were a few of these) we’ve seen across our entire camping road trip across western USA. Also beware of the sun. You must have a shaded roof if you’re there in the summer. No shade anywhere. And the nearby lake is lovely indeed if you go off season. We did not take advantage of it at all because there were way too many people there. It was like an amusement park. Moreover, the campsite attendant was not friendly. Like he just didn’t care. While not really rude he definitely was not a people person so you’re wondering why he’s there (during the high season at least).

It’s such a beautiful place to camp, to go for a nice hike and enjoy a cold plunge, camped there 2 nights so I got to see the beautiful sunset and sunrise. It gets really windy so a windproof tent or others would make your stay more pleasurable, no potable water so be prepared, clean restrooms at camp and decent size camping spots, lockers available for food since BEARS ARE ACTIVE IN THE AREA, be prepared for altitude sickness, wood available at the host site (very nice man) no trees for shade and can get really toasty but cold at night (sep 2024) tiny little store at resort and little phone service (I had 🦗@ the time and had service at the entrance) brought my paddle board and adventures (no wake lake) but boats can be rented too. Close to Mammoth and to hot springs. Make sure you completely out your fire (cold to touch) and pack your trash. High traffic during the day.

Stretched out and relatively private feeling even when you're out in the open without any trees around. Camping in a tent was comfortable although the noise of trailers using generators is a little annoying. Site 47 was flat and close to the creek. Camp host was super helpful. Firewood is a little pricey but it always is. Hard to get cheaper local wood ahead of time. But $9 for a small pile with no kindling that only lasts a couple hours is hard to swallow for me. Kind of annoying to drive in and out as the campground is so long. The area is the best though. The lake. The horse rides. The boats. The hikes. The eagles. It's magical

Great place to put mind an body at one again. Our weeks vacation was awesome, got to visit all surrounding areas. Thank you lord
