We don't walk very well and when we called to book our room we asked to be near the elevator and in the north palm tower which is close to the pool, lobby and casino. They were able to fulfill our request which made us extremely happy. We enjoyed the adults only salt water pool and hot tub. If you don't have walk in showers, it would be nice to have grab bars next to the tub to help getting in and out.

Our family comes here often for concerts, the water park, etc. We are local people. But wanted to give a huge shout out to Howard who is down at the hotel door entrance as soon as you walk in. He had such a friendly smile and was very warm and welcoming. After I got my family and I checked in, our 3 year old had to get out of the car to go potty and Howard directed us quickly to a bathroom. He then asked if we needed a cart for our luggage and offered to meet us with one at the south palm tower entrance even with one when we mentioned we were heading over there. We didn’t need one but was super nice of him to offer and all of his help and kindness was super appreciated, you can tell he cares about his job and island resort customers.

Suntower Has Dirty and Dated Rooms. I have stayed at many casinos across the country.. This is by faaar the worst casino room I've stayed in. Wallpaper missing, dirty bed blanket, stains above headboard, drywall / paint In poor shape and 2 dead flies on the bathroom floor. I attempted to switch rooms, allegedly they were booked full. I spoke to three representatives and asked for promo or a dining credit with no success.. Terrible customer service. Perhaps The Island should recruit employees from Culvers, the Taco Bell / Walmart thing isn't working out so well, they are the bottom of the gene pool.. I would be remiss if I didn't congratulate the two sweet, friendly bartenders at Horizons Steakhouse, I wish I could mention them by name.. My wife and I sat at the bar while waiting for our reservation. The ladies were so sweet that we decided to eat our dinner at the bar.. Our bill for the two of us was just shy of 200.00 which was well worth the excellently prepared meal and exceptional service.. I just called my casino host at Potawatomi, he reserved a suite for the upcoming weekend.. I'm counting the days until I can bask in a luxurious room. .

It was a dim night over a decade ago when me and my family pulled into a gas station, eager to find a place to rest for the night. The attendant recommended the Island Resort and Casino. Maybe they were an angel because the Island Resort and Casino was exactly what we needed. It was such a perfect stop we hit it again on the way back. The deals were great when we stayed there, it was fun, and the prices were better than many chain restaurants at the time. This beautiful beacon for weary travellers will always be remembered.

The casino was great. Plenty of machines with a wide variety. The rooms need some updates. There was a very large stain on the carpet in our room. The bed was not very comfortable and we found it hard to get a good night's rest. The adult only pool is also dated and could use an update.
