The campground is full of trees, lots of shade and has waterfront spots. However, people don't follow the road signs. Driving the wrong way on a one way. No quiet hour. There was a group of people singing up to midnight and being along the water side it was loud.

Ash is the person in charge. He was kind, discerning, hard enough to keep the bad out. Yet, a soft heart to do good for others. The waterfront sites are wonderful. No raccoons...never expected that before! Wow! Lots of white tail dear. And, cheapest sites for 50 miles around Nashville per my independent research. I wish it was open aaalllll year! The day park was full of large families enjoying time together with fresh meat cooking on the grill, and children laughing. Very pleasant experience. Thank you Ash!!! May your kindness be returned to you.

Ash the new gentleman hosting the campsite is a really great guy. He is running a tight ship and keeping it a family friendly experience. We will definitely be back soon 😊👍

This was a fantastic campground. Army corps did a beautiful job on this one. We had a huge waterfront site and we floated on tubes right from our site #7. Would stay again.

Great ACOE campground conveniently located on the outskirts of Nashville. We spent 2 nights while taking in the city's action. Very clean and well maintained. Ash, the campground host was very professional while also being personable. They do not close the entrance gate at night but do monitor in and out traffic. We experienced no problems.

The people running this campground are jerks. At first we never had a issue but the ending we did.... my daughter is special needs and they got no reason to act the way they do! I'll never come back and there are way better places to go than here.

Lots of air traffic overhead. Too much for this quiet country boy. Otherwise, not to bad a place for the price I paid. The camp Host accommodated me when I found my original campsite was destroyed over the weekend with litter and mayhem. She gave me a better spot I think. And it was clean. But I am leaving it cleaner than when I arrived.

How much you will like this campground depends on what you're looking for. The campsites are very spread out and have good privacy, not too noisy. If you are camping here for frequent access to the lake, it is important that you get a site on the outer circle. Sites on the inner circle don't really have walking access to the lake. Tons of space for RV's at any site. Limited space for tents on inside circle. Plenty on outside circle. Also, inside circle doesn't have water or electric hookup. Second bathhouse doesn't have showers. First bathhouse has showers, but they are pretty old. I didn't want to use them. The rest of the bathroom is fine, clean, not a lot of bugs. There are some HUGE centipede things around the campground, but they didn't come near our gear. We weren't bothered by raccoons or any wildlife at night. We saw a family of deer. Staff were friendly; they were accessible, but left us alone. I would definitely camp there again, but only on the outer circle.

Rented post 17. Loved the lake view. Quiet spot very rocky. There's a part in the woods you could pitch a tent but the ground is rocky otherwise. Grill, pit, table of stone and wood table. Very clean very clean park. Nice staff and a clean beautiful lake. Enjoyed it!!
