I would not suggest tent camping because of the exuberant amount of ants but if you do get bit by ants use some baking soda paste and then the next day you can use clove oil so that you don't get infected but these ants sting so I would suggest getting on a concrete slab or staying at a cabin not boo boo cabin because they don't have bathrooms or a place to cook no running water inside when you can't open the windows and they spray some kind of disgusting spray before you walk in I guess it's to freshen the air but it stinks. The bathrooms are nice because there's AC in there but they never clean there's dirt all over the floors there was the same hair balls in the shower all week. I had to take everything out of my tent and bleached everything down and then they came back. So I asked to go to a cabin which did not have a bathroom or running water or replace to cook so I just made the best of it. There were pieces of balloons all over the ground everywhere nobody picks up anything. It was definitely not worth the 49 a night for a tents and 79 a night for a cabin with no bathroom The taxes are double because of some campground fee. After being attacked by ants twice I expected to get some kind of a discount for the cabin but no that wasn't the case... I'll include some pictures. One is showing the headlights that everyone leaves on to park at the bathrooms and so I never got any sleep in that tent because nobody knows how to shut off their headlights.

Short version. The staff assisted me in fixing my AC upon arrival to the site. Longer version. Day one. We arrive with 4 eager kids. I setup the trailer and try to kick on the AC. What does it do? Nothing. I quickly realize I didn't pack a ladder/multimeter suitable for this level of troubleshooting. The staff stopped by and helped out with a ladder, multimeter, and other tools. They even sent someone out to assist in the troubleshooting process. Ended up taking about 1.5 hours and the AC was fixed. Thanks to these folks.

We loved staying here with our 5 year old. There’s plenty of things to do through out the day to enjoy your time. I loved having the schedule to choose from daily especially the arts and crafts time. My son enjoyed the pool, the water slides, the swing set & playing w the other kids that actually live at the park. Very family oriented.

This location is absolutely amazing. So much family fun packed into this campground. My kids are still talking about the Hey Hey ride. They loved the scavenger hunt, the movie night, the inflatables and ice cream. The Sunday School on Sunday morning was perfect. Can't recommend this park enough.

Wonderful campground/park! Our family really enjoyed it. The thoughtfulness of the little things is awesome. There are so many activities for kids and adults to do. From a bubble dance party to live music. The pool was clean, camp staff were extremely friendly, and great overall environment. If I had to say anything negative, all the shower stalls weren't working - so there was a wait every night for a shower. Other than that, such a wonderful place!

I have wanting to come to this place for over 6 years! Finally we had the opportunity to visit the area. I was able to book online with no issues. Call the facility to ask questions they were so nice and understanding. Check in was easy the cabin my family stayed in was Amazing!! I love that they had many things to do for the kids !! A daily schedule of activities, nature, even a church service on Sunday!!! The staff was so nice especially the man who came around to check on us ( sorry I forgot u r name). He went out of his way to sell us fire wood when the store was closed!! It was so hard to leave as I wish we could have stayed longer! But we will be back this summer!!! Just 1 thing main bed was HARD so for someone like me who has back issues I will bring a pillow top. But I was happy to see that they use mattress pad protection!!! I give this place a 5 star!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Such a great and wonderful experience. The staff and manager was extremely accommodating for our church group and very friendly and helpful. Our kids had such a wonderful time and we look forward to coming back again. Thank you Sid for taking the time to talk with me and giving me more information that we can use for our next trip that we take there. We may very well have found our forever camping retreat for our kids. Thank you to the whole staff for helping us. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

We have just returned home from a week long stay. This was our second trip to this park, we went last year same week for spring break. We knew last year that it had recently been taken over by new management and could see the improvements they were making. We had a great stay last year so we returned this year. They have made so many improvements and are still in the works. The activities were amazing!!! The staff is incredible!!! My older daughter age 5 wrote a letter to Boo-boo and left it as we were leaving the park to come home. There is a special mailbox to leave letters for the bears. Side note: We had some family there who happen to be our neighbors and the staff knew it. They were so friendly and eager to hear our stories. So they were staying one more day and the bears wrote them back. They sent my girls letter with our family to deliver. It was an experience my kids will never forget. And we will continue to make memories with Gulf Coast Jellystone.

Stayed for almost a week here with our kids and it was AMAZING. Kim and David were very welcoming and informative. The sites were shaded with beautiful pines. The cabins were neat. Our rig is 44ft and we had zero issues with turns or space, hook ups were right there at our site. The pool was very relaxing, the pond with the bounce floats was a blast with the kids! They even did a big bubble party with the kids and a trailer ride around the park. The kids get on the trailer with water guns, and the guests by their RV with water hoses and they'll take them around to get soaked and have fun. The gift shop and snack shop had all vacation snacks and gifts/toys we needed. All in all this was a wonderful trip and we will be back to see Kim and David for sure. Our kids ask about going back all the time. 10 out of 10 recommend 👌.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park RV Camp Resort on the Alabama Gulf Coast in Elberta, and I must say, it was a delightful experience for the whole family! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and they provided us with helpful information about the park and local attractions. The resort itself is well-maintained, with clean facilities and beautiful landscaping that truly enhances the outdoor experience. Our RV site was spacious and easy to access, with plenty of room for our setup. The resort offers a variety of amenities, including a swimming pool, playgrounds, and a fun-filled activity schedule. The kids loved participating in the organized activities, such as crafts and movie nights, and of course, meeting Yogi Bear himself was a highlight for them! The location is also fantastic, with the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches just a short drive away. We enjoyed spending time on the beach and exploring the nearby areas, but I must say that the resort was so much fun that we found it hard to leave! Overall, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park RV Camp Resort in Elberta is a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. With an excellent blend of activities, a welcoming atmosphere, and close proximity to the beach, it's a place we would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

We actually really enjoyed the location. Equidistant between Mobile and Pensacola and 30 minutes north of Gulf Shores. The park has a lot of potential: pool, playground, decent space between sites, activities for kids. However, lots of construction due to expansion but the existing sites are horribly unlevel. We were on a premium site....not so premium. $40 plus per night was not worth it. February weather eliminated the pool but we did enjoy playing horseshoes. The entryway is also narrow and very bumpy.

Huge sites! This is a Great Camp ground. The staff is friendly and eager to please! Lots of fun things for the kids to do! Not an unreasonable distance from restaurants, shops or the beach even! Bathrooms are super clean and nice spacious showers. They even opened up 2 brand new bathrooms by the pool during our stay. This will always be our go to campground when visiting this part of the country!!

Stayed 13 days. Very nice tree filled park with large sites. Many activities, games, park, and pool available. Good shower, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Dump service for sites w/o sewer. Reasonable prices. 30ish minutes or less to several gulf and bay beaches.VERY kind and accommodating staff. Some things did seem a little unorganized, but they may of just needed another worker or two to help out, and to keep the store open more hours. They were running more sewer lines (good thing) but shut water off twice w/o warning, which caused a schedule issue for us once. All in all, great place to celebrate the holidays with family!

Excellent facility and staff at this Yogi Bear Jellystone park! Even with a ton of folks in the park for Labor Day weekend, it was still so family oriented and well managed. Mickie and her staff constantly go above and beyond for visitors- I witnessed this all week. There were so many activities for the kids (foam party, rock painting, movies, water slide) and our daughter truly did not want to leave the property. She said “I want to live with Yogi Bear forever!” after she got to meet him at the flag pole raising! The amenities are already exceptional (parks, splashpad, pool, obstacle course, pond, activities, etc) but they are currently renovating and adding more to enhance the stay and experience. We felt safe and loved every minute of the trip. We will definitely be going back!
