Even when the campground is booked solid, it was quiet and relaxing. Quiet hours the weekend we camped we indeed quiet (just the sounds of the crickets). Friendly rangers and well-maintained facilities. Bathrooms are pit toilets, but have running faucets and showers. Lots of bear warnings, so no food in tents or left out

We had a great time camping and hiking to Ghost Lake here. Lots of caterpillars and inch worms to keep the children occupied. Got to see Mars and a few other stars at the observatory before the clouds rolled in. Witnessed a red tail hawk making a defending its nest just outside of our campsite. Park rangers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the forest.

Took a hike here for the first time. The trails are lovely and there are several scenic overlooks. The cabins and campsites look nice. I will be going back

We went winter cabining at Jenny Jump. They call them, Shelters, as they have no water or electric, but it is fine as the wood stove does a good job of heating the space. They have two styles of shelters: older ones and newer ones. I was in an older style. They all have two bunk beds, a picnic table inside & outside, and a fire pit. The roadways are a bit rough, but passable by just about any car. In this campground, the shelters are spaced far enough apart to have some privacy from the others. I recommend these shelters even though they are basic, they are still fun.

Group campsite B TOP NOTCH, 4 picnic tables, large double sided fire ring, 2 pit toilets. Bear safe storage cabinet. Close to the Ghost lake trailhead. Ghost lake trail is excellent, varied terrain, scenic overlook, can hike to the lake and picnic and fish.
