Kaibab Camper Village

First of all, the staff was amazing—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Every time we called, they answered right away, and they reserved a campsite for us with just our name and no deposit required. The campground is very affordable, costing less than $15 per night. The facilities and the campgrounds are clean and well maintained, including new flushing toilets, laundry facilities, and hot showers. The shower area is separate from the restrooms and has individual shower stalls. Showers operate with quarters ($2.50 for 5 minutes), which is actually a great system to help conserve water and avoid long lines. The only suggestion I have is to provide clearer instructions on the shower door explaining how the system works. Fresh water is available from faucets throughout the campground. The office sells drinks and basic snacks, and they also provide firewood for only $12 per bundle, delivered directly to your campsite. Since outside firewood is not allowed, likely to help prevent fires and the spread of pests, this is very convenient. Campsites include fire pits as well as basic picnic tables with benches. The place is also dog friendly. We were so tired during our stay that we forgot to ask the staff for their names, which is a shame because every single person we interacted with was wonderful. Despite the water-related issues affecting some North Rim campgrounds, this campground was not crowded during our visit. If you plan to stay here, be sure to bring food with you, as the nearest grocery store is more than 30 miles away. There is, however, a small hotel about 6 minutes away that has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also sell basic snacks, drinks, and pastries. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here for a quick night, we were scouting for camping spots and were about to leave to go for dispersed camping when one of the workers came out and she was like an angel after our long drive. She quickly reserved a spot for us and even made arrangements to deliver the firewood to our campsite so we could set up as it was getting dark. 10/10 service, good facilities (bathroom, showers), would stay here again!

We came to Kaibab Campground by WYLDE for Memorial Day weekend. Last year we came and camped remotely at the north rim. We thought that remote camping would be the best way to get peace and quiet. We were wrong. Kaibab Campground by WYLDE made our camping experience even better this year. They were so welcoming and the location is peaceful and serene. It was just the relaxation we were looking for with great access to the North Rim. The bathrooms were very clean as were the sites. They even let us move closer to our group. We look forward to making memorial weekend at Kaibab Campground a tradition, but plan to not wait a year before we return!

I love this campground and will be returning soon. It is in a beautiful setting close to the Grand Canyon's north rim and surrounded by the Kaibab National Forest. The famous Jacob Lake is actually on the property! The new owners are a young, local family and they are constantly improving and updating the place. Book a stay; you won't regret it!

The Kaibab Camper Village by WYLDE is tucked away just far enough from the highway to turn it into a quiet oasis to enjoy the forests of the North Rim. The campground is under new ownership and I love what they’re doing! Adding services like UTV rentals straight from campground is opening up access to the forests there! Phenomenal team, and even better wilderness retreat! We’ll be going back to escape the heat for some fresh mountain air! 100/10

I didn't actually end up camping here, but the staff, Margie was extremely helpful, returned my calls, and pointed me in the right direction, location. Thank you! Happy Camping!

Loved Kiabab Camper Village! Owners/staff are so welcoming. Plenty of hiking available, porta potty in different areas are so clean for tenters or campers without hookups. Total hookup is available on several sites. Thank you, Ellen & and Chris, for your beautiful Camper Village!

Stayed here 9 years ago, loved it, was booked for 3 nights this weekend on our rv trip down from alaska when they called us to warm of the horrible fire sweeping through the north rim, refunded us back 100% and we rerouted to flagstaff, wow so shocked to see the devastating fire destroyed the logde, they certainly went above and beyond to point us away to safety. Prayers that their campground survived the blaze

Absolutely Wonderful RV Experience! Kaibab Camper Village exceeded all expectations! The campgrounds are peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The RV sites were incredibly spacious and very reasonably priced, making it a great value. What really stood out were the resort owners—they were warm, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time playing horseshoes and cornhole right on site, all while soaking in the serene landscape. We loved it so much, we added an extra day just to relax and enjoy it a little longer. The location is also perfect—just a scenic 45-minute drive to the Grand Canyon North Rim. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, and welcoming place to stay, This RV site is the nearest site with full rv hookups closest the North Rim. I highly recommend Kaibab Camper Village. We can’t wait to come back!

We decided we wanted to see the N rim of the Grand Canyon at the last minute. We called and booked the same day!! This spot is 44 mi from the park, so it's a short drive. Friendly and helpful staff met us at check in to take us to our spot. The sites are close but not like you are sandwiched in. We had full hookups, and there are 2 washers/dryers in the park for a small fee This park is so PEACEFUL. We would stay again!!

Lake itself is a puddle. Do not come here for lake activities. Otherwise, the workers at the Inn up the road are 10/10, very nice. Just don’t be deceived by the term “lake”.

We stayed here at the end of September in our camper and had an incredible time. The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The campsite was well maintained and clean. Water pressure, electricity and sewer hookups all worked and the entire trip was peaceful and relaxing. We intend to make this a year site we visit to get away from everyday life. If you are towing a camper or driving an RV and want to visit the Grand Canyon North Rim this is the place to stay. The Jacob Lake Inn is nearby with food and other essentials you might need. We will absolutely be back.

Nice wooded area. We came here because it's the closest RV campground with full hookups to the Grand Canyon North Rim. The sites are just large enough and most of them are between trees (which is good and bad). This is a nice quiet, clean campground and it's near a ton of trails in the Kaibab forest - so there is more here than access to the Grand Canyon. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were happy in our site. I saw them helping other new arrivals back into their site when they showed up in large 5th wheels. Jacob Lake itself is really a watering hole for cows. There is an interesting historic Ranger cabin just a short walk from the campground.

The folks here are the best (Cindy and Maria) made us feel at home as soon as we arived. Sites are a bit small but location to the Grand Canyon north rim is perfect. Host campers gave us some tips that were extremely helpful and appreciated. We camped with 3 other fifth wheel friends from Massachusetts and would stay again in a heartbeat if in this area. Can't say thank you enough to the managers of the campground. Would suggest getting gas before driving, gas station right down the street is charging $5 a gallon because they can....yikes!

Really wonderful experience here! Very low key and feels like you’re camping in the woods with all the pine trees around. It’s a well kept campground, and quiet. It could have just been the time of year with school starting again, but the average population staying here was 50+ which made for a peaceful environment. The people running the front office were very helpful! I would stay here again.
