Everything about this place is really awesome. Just do NOT book at the cottages. There's a house in that neighborhood that locks their dog outside and the dog just runs around in circles barking for hours. It can be heard about 3/4 of a mile away, which means over 60 houses has to listen to it. I say again, avoid the cottages at all costs. How dare they allow people to book here and just expect them to put up with that. And shame to the dog owner and anybody else that does this to their neighbors.

I stayed one night as a single woman on my way across the country. I had a room with a peekaboo view of the marina. The bed was comfortable. However, the room smelled badly of mold, causing sneezing and burning eyes all night. There were dead bugs in the single sink that floated in the water that was slow to drain. I was planning to eat dinner at the restaurant, but it was closed for some reason. I had a leftover meal with me, but there was no in room fridge or microwave. The internet and cell service were spotty. The door locks were minimal, so I put chairs under the knobs for additional safety. Due to the mold, I got up and left before dawn.

Great place to stay and relax. View of lake is beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet, and the grounds are well maintained. Resort offers Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Pool was drained on our visit. Lodge rooms are well maintained, but have no refrigerator or microwave. Probably because the power coming out of the outlets can't handle the wattage. I say this because charging cell phones take for ever and using phone while being charged decreases power on phone.

Great place to stay. Plenty of room and location is good. The pool should be open a little later and needs a good cleaning. Restaurant was okay, your typical buffet food but not terrible. I would recommend it if there is nowhere else to stay in the area.

It looks very nice. Beautiful countryside. Ive never actually been. My sailboat is at the marina next to the village. But, if you want to stay by a lovely lake, wish to rent a boat, and love the outdoors, my rating is 5 of 5. I pay over 3000.00 a year to stay just because its a very relaxing and well equipped marina.

The best KY state park we have stayed at. We had a 3 bedroom cottage which had 2 beds per room. Restaurants are pretty close compared to other state parks.

This is a great place. Cabins are clean and spacious. It's worth staying there just to go each the breakfast buffet. Everyone is so nice too.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Kentucky Dam Village. We were passing through the area and selected it for an overnight stay because it was the most reasonably priced place with good reviews. We stayed in the lodge. It was originally constructed for the workers that were building the dam. It has a period charm about it. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the lake. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a walk along one of the trails in the morning before we had to leave.

We met family for lunch in the restaurant and a long visit in the lobby. It wasn't an overnight stay so I can't comment on the rooms. This is a wonderful place to meet and visit. The food is delicious and the view is very pretty and relaxing. The staff is always very gracious and helpful.
