The water is hot. That’s the main reason to go, and it consistently delivers. It’s generally peaceful. No drunken parties or surprise nudity. The price is reasonable. The facility is rough around the edges. There’s carpet in the locker rooms. The water fountain could put your eye out if you’re not paying attention. The pool bottom is abrasive. A lot of things don’t work, including the clock on the wall, so you’ll have to take the staff’s word for when it’s closing time. As closing approaches, the staff mood shifts from mildly annoyed to openly hostile. It’s best to start gathering your things before they come around. Birds nest in the rafters above the hot pool. Sometimes they poop. The urinal requires standing in a mystery puddle. Still, I’m a regular. It’s not perfect, but it’s hot, it’s nearby, and it’s part of the routine.

Stayed in an rv spot near the pool. Site was fine, but very close together and water pressure was very low. Office lady was pleasant, though. Check in was iffy as the office closes at 6pm and there is no one to contact after that. Meanwhile, there was an rv 3 sites up with 4 kids kicking the ball around near our site and hit our truck. I told him to please move away...nicely. I then spoke to the lady and she said they pay too. Very rude people here, not impressed. Hot spring pool was warm and a bit murky, and the hot tub was not as hot as we thought...bath water temperature. The entire facility does need a little tlc as the showers are old and the bottom of the pool is coming away. Too many people allowed in at once as well. Sorry, but not worth the money for the hot spring, and it's not cheap especially if you are only staying a short time. Oh, and the hot tub fee is not included with the rv site. All in all, an ok experience.

If you need to chill down after your heavy hikes around Bishop, you shouldn’t miss this hot spring. It was clean and family-friendly. It has two pools, the smaller one with hot water and bigger pool is normal. It’s amazing feeling because you are surrounded by mountains when you are swimming under the sun. It has also RV parking l, benches outside to picnic and a trail to hike
