I thought this cabin was going to be haunted based on the few pictures I saw from the state park. Lo and behold, the only thing spooky was how long I slept in silence in these spectacular little cabins. These are PERFECT for a solo trip to hide from your family, a cute get away for two (or three? 🤷 👀) or the risky family trip. You DO need to bring any and everything you intend to use, but town is also 10 minutes away so don’t freak out. The trails, common areas, etc were all tidy with barely a leaf out of place. Warning: we went the third week of October and the trees drop their acorns all day which is cool. At night with a tin roof… you will awake alarmed because it sounds like a meteor ended your fragile life. But you’re fine. Bring a sound machine and fan anyway. Last, but certainly not least , the dude working the campground store/check-in is as much as a gem as this state park is. Excellent visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The campground is nice though the sites in the middle of the loops back right up to a site in the next loop. We were in D6 which was nice and has a slight view of the pond. The bath houses are clean but showers do not offer a lot of privacy.

We stayed in the cabins, they were very nice. Clean and well cared for. Trails are well marked and well kept. Nature center is small but has some neat friends and great information. We visited after Labor Day during the week so we were unfortunately unable to kayak on the pond. My one complaint is the lack of privacy from the other cabins. The cabins are fairly close together, which isn't a problem in and of itself, but the fire pits for each cabin are in the front and right by the path, so when your cabin neighbor has a toddler they refuse to control he only had to wander about 50' before he's at your site and trying to go inside. I feel like putting fire pits behind the cabins would give little more of a sense of privacy.

I loved Killens Pond! We stayed in mid-May, and the weather was perfect. The cabins come with T/P; you will need to pack everything else. The floors of the cabin aren't mopped by maintenance, and sometimes sticky. The porch was so dusty and filled with dead bugs, but supplied with a broom and mop, easy to fix. A/C is awesome. The cabin fit two adults comfortably. Felt very safe, needed a key code to get into the cabin, and there was another chain lock on the inside of the door. Trash dumping is very easy. Trails were nice and cleared- we did the full hike around the pond (abt 3 miles, I'm guessing) & it was very scenic!

We are a family of five with three small boys, while they are young. We have been staying in cabins, and these are some of the best along the Northeast corridor. Climate control, in cabin hot showers, kitchenette with microwave, everything you could need. There is a nice playground, awesome nature trails, really cool nature center and quick access Dover and Rehoboth Beach attractions.

Nice cozy little park with play areas, a couple of trails, sitting areas near the pond, a long Aluminum bridge to enjoy water views and for fishing. Boating area. Nature center is small with exhibits and info on local reptiles and amphibians. Multiple picnic tables at the park plus picnic pavilion. Another plus is the water park right inside the park.

Beautiful park with probably the cleanest restroom/showers we have seen in years. Highly recommend. We were here mid March

Nice lots. A bit small but they are flat. If you like hiking it's all right here in the park. Close to beach and the bay for day trips. The bath house while very clean ( team does a great job) I'm not to keen on the showers. No temp control on them. I have my dog with me, plenty of places to walk the dog!!

I participated in a guided hike around the beautiful "life challenge loop", led by Collin. It is obvious that he loves nature and his park. He stops to discuss "mother nature." He is personable. The park is clean and well maintained. I plan to go back for the next walk, I believe, February 6.

Beautiful , well maintained trails! I haven't been there in 5 years and they have made numerous improvements to the park. Namely the awesome footbridge next to the road. Just wish I like ced closer so I could visit more often

This is my happy place. Take the Kayak tour. Guides are amazing. Relaxing. Great wildlife. Blue Herons everywhere.

Great place to go camping with the whole family. We took 4 adults and 6 kids. All had a great time. There are carts yo help you carry stuff into the walk in sites. This place is a must go.

Enjoyable day. Felt safe. Life guards were all on point. Granddaughter (10yr old) had a blast. We will be returning.
