I stayed at King's Kamp for about 3 months in my rv. The location is great! Close to restaurants and shopping plus Pennekamp Park. Margaret and Ruth in the office are very kind and helpful! They aim to please and are willing to do what it takes to make visitors happy. The sunset views are beautiful and there is a boat ramp plus little swimming beach. Definitely check it out but call way in advance because they book up fast!

Wonderful place! We stayed in the cottage next to the water. Saw some fish, crabs, and maybe even a shark. The beds were very comfortable and the views lovely. I would definitely stay longer next time.

My recommendation is that if you're going to visit this place, you should go in your own RV. Those who bring their own vehicles face far fewer restrictions than those who rent from the facility. You can do as you please, bring your pets, and enjoy more freedom overall. Apparently, the rules mainly apply to people who rent their spaces — which honestly feels like discrimination. One of the most disappointing aspects of our visit was the attitude of one of the staff members. She had to come back after hours for an issue that wasn't our fault, and did so with a terrible attitude. When it came time to pay, she didn’t even greet us, and the same happened when we left — not a single “good morning” or “thank you.” To be fair, it was just one person in particular (I can’t mention her name because never introduced herself). All businesses rely on their customers, and if those customers return more than once, behave well, and cause no problems, the least they deserve is a smile and basic courtesy. They strictly follow some rules, but when it comes to customer service, they clearly fall short. After waiting so long to visit, I left very disappointed with how things turned out.

We always have an amazing stay at Kings Kamp and can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect--peaceful, well-maintained, and offering the most stunning sunsets we've ever seen. The staff at the office are nice. A special shoutout to Ruth, who truly goes above and beyond for every guest. Her kindness, and dedication make this place feel like home. We rent here every summer and will continue to do so. Everyone is so friendly, Its like a big family, everyone knows everyone. If you're looking for a welcoming spot in paradise and jaw-dropping views, this is it!

This is a small campground by todays standards, but that's what makes it so great. They have done an awesome job with it. It has a boat ramp, and places to tie your boat. We booked what they said was one of their smallest rooms but it was fantastic. plenty of room for two people. very well kept, clean, and in outstanding condition. Definitely recommend this facility.
