This place is a gem. Very friendly, accommodating and relaxed. Also kept clean as a whistle. And fairly priced. So close off the freeway. Horse corrals very roomy, clean fresh water and nice shelters. We will definitely be back.

I would give this park a better rating, but for the condition of our assigned site. Due to unseasonable rains the grounds were wet & we were assigned a very wet site with mud puddles in the fenced off horse area. The groundskeeper was doing an excellent job dragging the area in the actual campground proper. I should be grateful for our site as it may have been the last available. We had a manual gate to contend with coming or going due to our location in the horse area. The office -laundry- restrooms were clean & cared for. The office help were nice & accommodating, but if I had known the condition & location of our site, a fair price would have been half of the $50 we were charged….I would not hesitate to recommend this great horse “motel” &. Campground. Sometimes pricing should be negotiable!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the Kiva RV park just off I-25 in Socorro NM and about 45 minutes south of Albuquerque. Super friendly and helpful owner and staff. Clean restrooms and nice laundry room with new washers and dryers. For anyone traveling with horses this is the perfect stop. The camp has a pipe rail corral plus a barn and individual stalls for your horses. Also has hookups for your stock trailers and there are beautiful areas to trail ride. We will definitely stop for a night or two on our next in the area.

I saw a review about kiva overcharging for electricity. Don't believe it. The electric company in New Mexico charges Kiva .22. Ents per kilowatt hour. Kiva charges the customer .17 cents a kilowatt hour. I stayed there 3 years ago, plus a week in June 2025. The rate charge was the same. I've stayed at numerous extended stay rv parks around the country. The going electric rate is...... .17 cents a kilowatt hour. The laundry is clean. The washers are average size and clean very well. The dryers are very large and go the job. The staff is very good and accommodating with after-hours phone number if needed. The highway noise is NOT loud. I-25 is not that busy. I counted several times 25 cars a minute. A small fan in the bedroom drowns out the freeway noise. The daily rate is reasonable. GOOD SAM discounts apply. A very nice place to overnight or extended stay if you are a travel worker.
